This was a destination wedding as we live in Washington but my husband's from Canada. We were looking for a venue which had catering as well as ceremony and reception space. When I visited in January it blew me away. The preparation was clear and well organized and the communication was always prompt, I wasn't waiting weeks for an email...

We spent two nights at Rowena's in one of the secluded cabins. We stayed in the Phyllis cabin and it was just lovely. The view out to the pond and the lake in the background was beautiful. The cabin had a large stone fireplace and a the whole set up was cozy and inviting. The bathroom was big with an...

We stayed in a cottage named Phyllis which has a trout pond in front of - The cottage was warm an welcoming. We played golf at their idyllic course and dined at the outstanding restaurant. The staff made you feel so welcome and our return will occur sooner than later.

Lovely location and, if you are a golfer and the course is open, I expect you would enjoy it more than we did. We were there for several days just after Thanksgiving - they were doing maintenance on the course so we wouldn't have been able to golf, even if we had wanted to. Room was comfortable and nicely appointed...

Right at the Golf course, the view from the inn is beautiful. The terrace is heated from above for those outdoor enthusiasts that need fresh air while eating. The buffet did not look like much so I settled for the fish and chips, thinking to get the usual cod or halibut slider. In fact this turned out the best fish...

This was my 2nd visit to Rowena's Inn on the River. A step back in time at the Inn with such gracefully preserved elegance from the original family. The estate is along the Harrison River with golf course, pro shop, cabins closer to the river and a restaurant. Betty Ann's room, overlooking the river was very elegantly appointed with original...

We received a GC for Rowena's as a wedding gift last year, so decided to use it to celebrate our first anniversary; and it did not disappoint. We had a lovely cabin that was perfectly set up with all the amenities. It was both cozy and romantic; a perfect setting to enjoy Mother Nature's contribution which was a spectacular thunderstorm...

The furnishings were authentic antiques, everything we needed was available. The restaurant was great, the view was amazing. We are hoping to make this an annual visit. We have been recommending the Inn and the cottages to our friends.

Hi Rosedale Cowboy, we designed Rowena's to have TVs but our guests are welcome to bring tablets or laptops and connect to complimentary Wifi. The thinking when it was built was for guests to to reconnect and remove the noise of the world. Thank you for sharing your concerns.
