We really enjoyed our stay here! You just can't beat staying right on the water, having a hot tub and dealing with such lovely people. Thanks so much for being such great hosts, we will definitely be back!

Our family booked a 5 day stay at Shady Shores during the holiday season. Not only was the scenery breathtaking, the accommodations perfect, also the customer service and personal touch was the cherry on top. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing get away.

Had a fun girls trip staying at the Shady Shores. Enjoyed our stay relaxing in the sun, looking at the beautiful view right on the beach. The owner operator Shady is welcoming and friendly, even took some time out of her busy day to sit and visit with us. Lovely place to stay well maintained and clean. Hope to be...

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The owner is so nice and gave us some good tips where to go with our kids. The 2 bedrooms are small, there was no room to put our big suitcases in the wardrobe. Balcony with table to eat outdoor or on the beach. The beach is big when the tide is out,...

Caroline (Aca Shady) is quite a character, and in the traditional Canadian fashion is most friendly. Lovely position on the beach between Qualicum Bay & Bowser. The units are impressively architect designed. However not really enough room for 4 adults, albeit their are two bedrooms with double beds (no where really for cases). Rooms are clean and comfortable, plenty hot...

A quiet get-away for us. We found the most restful spot here. First day spent on the deck watching the amazing antics off the many Bald Eagles. Heron's fishing in the tidal pools. Second morning woke up to the Seals playing in the straits. Looked like their fishing was successful! The amount of wildlife right on your doorstep was incredible.

This is a five star resort! But not the typical 5 star. There is no room service, valet parking or mint on your pillow. Shady Shores offers good old fashioned hospitality from the moment you arrive. Greeting us with a welcome smile and making sure we were comfortably settked in. Villas and cottages are clean, cute and cozy. They are closer...
