Except for the gravel parking lot, the Cowboy Inn is rather very nice. Rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated and a few amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was good and good selection of cable channels. Sleep quality was good. The bath area was cramped, little space with the toilet and tub in that room. It was a...

It's off the beaten path, but well worth looking for. The room was clean and well kept, the staff was very friendly, the bed was comfortable and the motel was quiet. A very good night. Plus it's right up the road from Teddy Roosevelt NP, which also very cool looking.

What a terrific place to stay! The staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We would definitely encourage travelers to spend some time here and enjoy this small town only minutes away from Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

We definitely recommend the Cowboy Inn! There were 3 married couples in our party and everyone agreed that the accommodations were very comfortable and clean. A nice alternative to the high lodging prices in Medora...and only a 10-15 minute drive.

Location ~ located shortly off the interstate, in a nice safe location. (It is about a 20 minute drive from Medora) Check in ~ the process went very smoothly, a nice lady assisted us and got us checked in quickly. Price ~ We did think the price was a little high for what you are getting, however with there not...

The room was quiet, comfortable, affordable and just a great place to stay. It did not serve breakfast but we knew that going in. The interior entrances were a nice surprise and the decor was quite fun. Our kids kept saying how much they wanted to stay there again sometime!

We wanted to stay outside Theodore Roosevelt N.P. and after reading Trip Advisor reviews we decided on the Cowboy Inn. It was rustic, quaint and clean. I liked the fact that it was far enough off the main highway to not have a lot of traffic and noise. There was a train somewhere in the vicinity as I could hear...

Great rustic hotel. Very clean rooms with a cute western decor. There is a hallway outside your room to keep the cold out. All the basics (i.e. microwave, fridge, coffee pot). There was a bath tub which was great for my bf because he likes to soak. Wifi was free and fast enough to stream videos. We liked it and...

We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. We had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, free wifi, and room to move around. It was clean and there were fluffy towels in the bathroom. My husband appreciated their nightlight in the bathroom as well as a rubber bathmat in the tub. The parking lot was made...

When we pulled into this motel, we weren't sure if we would like it; but it truly is a hidden gem. It isn't fancy, but it is well cared for, clean, neat, and comfortable. Also, it was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.
