This is the 2nd year that my mother & my three sisters have stayed in the Gardner's Cottage for a long weekend. We make good use of the common area, a small living room. Since all 4 rooms of the cottage are rented by us, we have exclusive use of this space. It works wonderfully for us. The grounds are...

We spent 2 days and 1 night at Graylyn Estates to celebrate our 43rd Wedding Anniversary and it was awesome. Learned a lot of history, staff was all wonderful, accommodations were First Class! Food was wonderful, loved it all!.

Beautiful estate, amazing service, and amazing food. If you are visiting Wake Forest, you must stay here! Our room was very nice. We loved dinner in Estate building, then downstairs to play pool and darts. Breakfast great, omelette station a nice plus.

Good service and a beautiful site, but very old facility without modern amenities. Even if it is a traditional suite in an antique building, some up to date and new comfortable features have to be available in a $450 a night suite. There was a loud old radiator, that kept us awake all night long and then in the morning,...

I stayed at Graylyn for two nights earlier this year, and I enjoyed my time there but there were a few things that made me not LOVE it as I had expected to. First, it is a beautiful hotel with a great check-in area, delicious buffet breakfast, free ice cream at night, and beautiful grounds. The staff was very helpful...

Was visiting my son at Wake Forest University and treated he and his friends to dinner at Graylyn. They kindly upgraded us to a private dining room (Butler's Pantry) for the 5 of us. The room, like the rest of the hotel / dining area had historic and beautifully maintained ambience. I read a recent review that the food was...

Beautiful property, old world elegance. Food was average, menu selection did not match what was served on the plate. Breakfast buffet was cold. On the bright side the wait staff was excellent very attentive. We expected more for the price we had to pay. Overcharged at check out which was ssatisfactorily resolved a day later via email.

The place is fantastic. Breakfast was, done at 9:30 which was the end of the breakfast. The ham slices were so dried out that they couldn't be cut and we're hard,to bite. Bacon similarly dried out. Omelet was excellent. No one asked if we would like coffee or refill of juice. Still, it was a great place and I will return....

The food was fabulous and our server was superb! The entire evening was an absolute delightful! We were seated near a side table so we could put the presents and cards on it. I can't say enough about how great the staff are! We will be back!
