We couldn't be more pleased with our sojourn to Chloe 's homestead turned B&B. Our room was actually a 2-room suite with 2 beds to accommodate a gals get away. Bright yellow stenciled walls & blue patchwork quilts on the comfy beds was a treat. We chatted with the owner over wine-- like long lost girlfriends. She gave us a...

As usual our stay and the Big Mill B and B was wonderful. Chloe is a wonderful host, provides a wonderful breakfast; all facilities were clean and attractive. We love the setting there with the pond, fields, and plenty of birds to watch. when Chloe found out is was our anniversary she provided a giant heart to hang on the...

We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Big Mill B&B. In town for an ECU graduation, we stayed two nights and wish we had more time to enjoy the patio and grounds of the farm. Breakfast was yummy! Our room was very spacious, quiet and private. Kudos to Chloe for a wonderful B&B!

Having trouble finding the right words for this: exquisite breakfast, beautiful forgotten farm setting, relaxing abodes and country sunsets. You wont find a better place around. Chloe is the most fascinating person, and as you will find with her breakfasts, an astounding and accomplished cook! We WILL be coming back here, and the sooner the better!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights this past weekend, our son graduated from ECU so hotels were hard to come by. We found this gem and are so excited we did! Chloe is amazing, the strawberry jam and breakfast is out of this world, suites are beautiful and the Big Mill grounds are peaceful & relaxing. Even if you...

My wife and 10 year old daughter had another wonderful stay at Chloe's Big Mill B&B. Every time we return, we are taken back to a slower pace and peaseful respite. We have come alone as a couple, we have come as a group of friends, and we have come with our family. Each time has almost been magical. This...

My husband and I stayed one night in the Corn Crib room for an early Valentine's Day celebration and we couldn't be happier with Big Mill. From the time I called Chloe (the Innkeeper) to reserve the room to checking out just a few moments ago, she was warm, friendly, welcoming, and fun! The grounds are so quaint and serene,...

If you're looking for a 5-star bed and breakfast that's secluded (just enough outside of the main city) with lots of privacy, ambiance, and comfort ... you had better come here! My husband and I have been here previously and it just keeps getting better (honestly!) Our favorite innkeeper, Chloe, knows how to cater to every guest's needs. The breakfasts...

I've stayed at the Big Mill Bed and Breakfast several times and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Although I've stayed in other rooms, far and away my favorite is the Mardi Gras suite. It's roomy, and distinctively decorated. Because several of my visits have been in November, the gas fire in the living room is enormously comforting and cheerful. You...
