We decided to extend our trip to the mountains at the last minute and wanted to get out of Asheville. We called this place up Sunday afternoon and were able to get a room for $89.95. It is super cute, very quaint and cozy. The beds weren't the best ever, and the bathroom was cold, despite the heater in the...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The owners are friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants and shops. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean. What we enjoyed most relaxing in our outside rocking chairs and chatting with others.

This is a great "Mom & Pop" inn. Old-school, simple, clean, and with a very reasonable price. The location is great, being on Main Street and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We highly recommend the Frogs Leap Public House for dinner and the City Bakery for breakfast.

We've stayed here before and did again last weekend. Very nice folks, nice grounds with huge shady trees in the middle of the complex seperating the different wings of the inn. Folks relaxing on the shady decks, playing cornhole and generally taking it easy. Rooms are basic but clean and the mattresses are very nice for the price. Will stay...

We wanted to get off the interstate and rode through downtown Waynesville. Just past the Baptist Church was this small locally owned property. The room was clean, comfy, and quiet. The owner was very helpful with dinner suggestions within walking distance. We will be returning soon.

I have stayed here many times over the years. I always make sure when I am traveling in the area to plan a night or two at the Oak Park Inn. The rooms are clean, the price is right, the motel is within easy walking distance of downtown with many restaurants and shops. Nice rocking chairs in front of each...

My wife and I recently stayed here for our anniversary. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere here and spent quite a bit of time simply sitting outside in the rocking chairs. We walked directly from the hotel to the downtown for food and shopping. It's a great value and clean room.

I recently stayed at OPI recently during a first time trip to Waynesville. Two coworkers recommended the Inn. I already knew it was "vintage" so my expectations were in-check upon arrival. The good things were a comfortable king bed, clean rooms, nicely landscaped, relaxed country feel, good location to shopping and dining, reasonable rates, rockers outside each room and friendly...

We loved the atmosphere and location and owners of this inn last year and this year. However this year both mattresses were in such horrible shape we had trouble sleeping and I had back pain. I spoke with one of the owners and changing the mattresses is on their radar already. I would not recommend staying there until this is...

My wife and I came to Waynesville late in the day without reservations and could not drive any further. We stopped in the downtown district and and had dinner at Frogs Leap Public House which was exellent! It was nearly 9 PM and feared a stay at an interstate chain was inevitable. There our waitress suggested we try Oak Park...
