My wife and I met with other family members to take three of the Grandview's rooms. We were in the Delanoy, a spacious and well appointed room with a beautiful sleigh bed. Other reviewers have noted that the Grandview is not fancy with five star amenities. What it was for us, however, was a five star experience. No problems with...

We loved it!!! We decided on Grandview for a romantic weekend retreat on Memorial Day weekend,.... best decision ever! Just to clarify among any previous reviews that seem critical, this is an older facility with modern updates. Do not expect fancy room service with five star amenities, this isn't that type of venue. What you should expect is a laid...

My wife and I stayed here with our daughters of 1 and 3, in the Gustave-Julia room, upstairs in the main house. Jeffrey and Breanna are a charming couple with a fascinating backstory--too good to spoil here!--and they made us feel thoroughly welcome. The whole place has a delightful, rustic feel, with a big front porch and even a record...

My wife and I were returning to Indianapolis after a week on the South Carolina coast. Previous reviews are spot on in saying you would feel like you're staying in someone's home, the bedrooms just having outside entrances! Our room, The Colonel Love, felt like we were in a cabin.....it was on the end and was pet friendly, quiet and perfect for our two four-legged traveling companions. Jeffrey made us feel right at home immediately. The...

Wood paneled rooms that feel like cabins, welcoming porches and common areas, dog and kid friendly, with a superb breakfast. The owners, a former rock star photographer and his model wife, have settled down with to roost with their children in this charming town, filled with great farm to table restaurants, shops and art galleries near Cataloochee Ski area, the...

My husband and I stayed at the Grandview Lodge this past weekend. We were in town for a family funeral and were looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay. We were looking at the local hotels when I cam across this place. We took a chance on it based on other TripAdvisor reviews, and we are glad we did....

Jeff and his wife have owned GV little more than a year. As this was our first (but probably not last) visit to GV, it was difficult to accurately observe and quantify what are most likely hundreds of small and large up grades recently made to the premises. These folks are, however, on the right track and will justifiably receive...
