We camped here for the month of October. Even though a lot of the park is permanent residents in rv/cabins that are owned, they all were very friendly and welcomed the overnight/weekly/monthly campers. We enjoyed a chili cookoff and several bon fires that were in the common area. This park is near Sylva, Dillsboro, Waynesville, Franklin and other mountain towns....

"Choose from one of their 92 campsites" no you can't, most are permanent!! Noisy on the only creek on the campground dud to Hwy 441 being right above you. You can probably get 15 people in the tiny pool. Wasn't busy so they put us in the camp site with 3 power poles on it. You are not allowed to...

My parents own a cabin in Fort Tatham. We come here every Summer and in the Fall when we can. My kids love the playground, swimming pool and the creek. Very convenient to Dillsboro (Rafting), Sylva (Food), Franklin (Fun Factory), Cherokee (Picnics / Road Trips) and Bryson City (Train Ride / NOC). You won't want to go back home.

Loved this place! Stayed for a week in our 5 th wheel. Had a creek behind our camper where my husband and son fished all week. We ate fresh trout a couple times for dinner. At first I was concerned about the noise of the traffic behind us, but honestly didn't hear anything in our camper at night. The staff...

This was our first campground to visit with our first 40' fifth wheel. At first I was concerned that it was seem small. Once we were there we fell in love with the campground and the people. This is not a premier destination campground but is one you will love. Quite, comfortable and affordable. Spots available on the creek and...

My Dad & step-mom traveled with my husband & I just to get away for a few days & as a celebration for our anniversary. I'm always apprehensive about going some place site unseen as I was this trip...but I was shocked & in awe of how clean the cabin was & how hospitable Ken was. He had cold bottled...

We recently stayed at this park and loved it! It is a small park full of some of the nicest full-timers ever! We were just staying for a few days, but they were very welcoming and friendly. The creek that runs through the park is a beautiful bubbly stream. If you are parked next to it, you are soothed by...

Went for a weekend and rented one of the two rental campers they have. Very modern with slideouts and everything you need but the food. I was excited about the full size coffee pot!! Rare these days. The park is great! Friendly people! Leon and Carol are the greatest. Scenery is nice, the creek is awesome, the pool is very...

I rented an RV for a week at the resort and had a wonderful time. it is nestled in between two mountains right outside of Dillsboro. The RV park is spectacular with two creeks running through the park. The RV was very clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly want and need. We went during one of the...

Very nice rv park located not to far outside of downtown Sylva and Dillsboro. We chose a site that backed up to the running creek which was very peaceful. The managers are super sweet and friendly and make you feel SO welcome! Bathhouse is clean and laundry room is convenient. ($1.25 for a washer, $1.00 for dryer) Most of the...

“this is an RV park , for motorhomes, tenters , etc.....not a hotel”

“Don't worry! The creek behind the tent area is several feet lower than the grass. It would take a hurricane to bring the creek up to the grass level.”
  • Tent area (before poles were delivered we used this little tent!) Creek is behind tent.
  • Creek for playing and fishing (several feet lower than tent area, you won't get flooded).
