Staff is great...very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks awesome. Hotel is dated, and quite neglected. Porch, stairs, deck..in need of repair, rooms are dated with old towels and nasty old bed spreads, wifi and tv were minimal at best..and at $95 a night...yikes.... If your ok with all that, it's a good place to sleep after boating and enjoying...

The view is beautiful, the lake water was so nice we swam in it in the dark after dinner! The food was "so, so". I had the cod dinner, I wouldn't go back for it again. The fried mushrooms were delicious though! Our server was Renee, she was friendly but the service was slow. We sat for over an hour...

In our opinion this is the best restaurant/bar on Lake Norman. For sure North Harbor offers a much more formal upscale venue, however, Lake Norman Motel Restaurant (aka "The Landing) offers a much more casual, fun, cold beer (or cocktails) and great ribs. Live music on summer weekends, restaurant, bar , motel transient slips, and boat launch. Simple motel (actual keys). Let us have our 100 lb dog, slip our boat, no problems for a cheap, little getaway! Ate their pizza on our boat and listened to music. Sand box for the kids. LKN secret!

“I have not stayed in the hotel rooms. This may be a fun place to stay. Years ago it was called "Slanting Bridge No Tell Motel". More recently it has been renovated and management replaced,”
