Detailed Reviews
The biggest thank you to Sandra and Phil for an amazing one night getaway! My husband and I were served afternoon tea shortly after checking into our room, which was delicious and consisted of a huge passionfruit cake, chocolate cake and scones. (Yum!) As we were the only guests there that day we felt so bad we couldn't eat more to be honest! As for our room we found this to be very spacious and relaxing, overlooking the beautifully maintained rose garden. We were served breakfast on the verandah at a time convenient to us, which included yoghurt and fresh fruit, followed by a cooked meal. Thank you again, it was just what we both needed being business owners and 37 weeks pregnant!! Hopefully see you again in the future.

Our first experience of Laurelville. After an easy 90min drive from Perth we were greeted by our gracious hosts Sandra and Phil, and checked into our beautful suite. Explored the extensive grounds of this characterful Manorhouse, surrounde by tall trees and birdlife, with beehives, chooks, fruit trees...loads of serenity. Over the next couple of days we enjoyed the poolroom, champagne and nibblies on the balcony at sunset, BIG breakfasts, and the afternoon tea delicious cakes are not to be missed. Plenty to explore in York, too with the bric-a-brac shops, car museum, the river and swing bridge. A wonderful minibreak.

From the moment we were greeted by Sandra we knew Laurelville was going to be special. I took my daughter to York for a 'girls weekend' for her birthday and we stumbled upon Laurelville online at the last minute. What a find. Beautiful grounds, tastefully decorated bedrooms with everything you could ask for and delightful hosts who were happy to go above and beyond. But it was the little touches that really made the difference. The 'treats tray waiting in our room on arrival with biscuits, chocolates and lollies. The hot chocolate specially made with TWO marshmallows to the delight of my daughter at breakfast. The offer to change rooms to a larger one if we wanted it. We felt like no request would be too big or too small. And the afternoon tea was to die for! Thank you so much for having us and we can't wait to come back again soon.

I wanted to surprise my husband with a weekend away from the stresses of life and boy did we get what I wanted! Beautiful house with beautiful staff and the food!! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to walk without waddling again with all the exceptional food we ate. Stunning cheese board in the verandah when we arrived, sumptuous breakfast every morning (the rhubarb!! 😜😜) and a bottomless afternoon tea on the veranda with a huge chocolate cake, a lemon syrup cake and scones with jam and fresh cream. Omg. All served on delightfully dainty crockery (the only photo I took 😆) that made me feel like I was in the 1950’s. Amazing!!
We explored York, climbed Mt Brown, and shopped at all the lovely little shops in town.
The gardens are magnificent with thousands of blooming roses to enjoy.
Would highly recommend Laurelville Manor to anyone wanting a taste of luxury and fine food. Cannot fault Sandra and Phil and their lovely staff member whose name sadly escapes me - we loved you too! 🥰

The manor house looked spectacular with its stunning gardens and beautiful rose and flower display. On arrival we were given the large bridal suite, which was stunningly decorated , as was the rest of the house. Breakfast, served on the verandah, was delicious. Sandra, the owner was a great host. The 2 night stay was very therapeutic and we would definitely stay again.

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute. Luxurious and beautifully decorated and prepared spacious room. Scrumptious and plentiful breakfast seated on the verandah overlooking the roses. A truly lovely experience. We had a happy time there.

We (there are 4 of us) stayed a night at Laurelville Manor. It was wonderful. Host Sandra made us very welcome. The rooms were large, very comfortable and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Lovely personal touches throughout the rooms. We made great use of the balcony area. There were scones with jam and cream and a cuppa on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laurelville. Everything was luxurious and perfect.
The gardens are truly amazing and so fragrant. There’s is so to explore around the property.
We went Hot Air Ballooning in Northam during our stay. Thoroughly recommend that too.
The house is old and historical with every part of it telling a story. So many lovely touches everywhere you look. Will certainly be back again.
Thank you to the hosts, Sandra and Phil.

We took the opportunity to visit York and stay at Laurelville Manor for my husband’s recent birthday. It did not disappoint.
Lovely big rooms, cloud like bed and the most magnificent food. The gardens and verandahs were an oasis. We felt so relaxed and well fed by the conclusion of the weekend. Highly recommend.
