We spent just one night at Laurelville and it was enough to give us a taste for more. So, we are planning to go for longer in the Spring. The guest house is charming and classy and the service is warm and friendly. The breakfast was amazing too, and enough to last you to dinner time. Highly recommended for a...

Stayed 2 nights midweek and loved it. Delicious made-to-order breakfasts served on the verandah overlooking the gardens. The building is magnificent and beautifully furnished. Good location and easy parking. Only about 5-10 minutes to walk to the main street.

Attended a wedding here last weekend . Cannot fault this venue. Was absolutely lovely . Job well done . They could not do enough for the wedding family . Would highly recommend to anyone who was having a party. In between the ceremony we played croquet and badminton whilst drinking champagne .

We had the pleasure of staying at Laurelville on 12th &13th October 2016. Our room was beautifully decorated to compliment the age of the house. Enjoyed the view and lovely breakfast on the front verandah. Many thanks to Sandra and her staff for their warm and friendly hospitality. Would definitely recommend.

Plenty to do in York and could have spent another day if more things in the town had been open. Good breakfast provided and loved the fire in the billiard room. Did the ghost town driving tour which was...
