Stayed 2 nights midweek and loved it. Delicious made-to-order breakfasts served on the verandah overlooking the gardens. The building is magnificent and beautifully furnished. Good location and easy parking. Only about 5-10 minutes to walk to the main street.

Attended a wedding here last weekend . Cannot fault this venue. Was absolutely lovely . Job well done . They could not do enough for the wedding family . Would highly recommend to anyone who was having a party. In between the ceremony we played croquet and badminton whilst drinking champagne .

We had the pleasure of staying at Laurelville on 12th &13th October 2016. Our room was beautifully decorated to compliment the age of the house. Enjoyed the view and lovely breakfast on the front verandah. Many thanks to Sandra and her staff for their warm and friendly hospitality. Would definitely recommend.

Our family recently spent 2 nights here and had a relaxing time. The rooms were beautiful and the house a delight. Plenty to do in York and could have spent another day if more things in the town had been open. Good breakfast provided and loved the fire in the billiard room. Did the ghost town driving tour which was...

Thanks for having us this past weekend. Beautiful setting, generous hosts, relaxing environment. Greeted with afternoon tea in the dining room. Given recommendations for dinner. Continental and made to order cooked breakfast. A great stay that I would recommend to others.

We took a break here after a stressful period with work and family. It was so restorative - calm, peaceful, quiet. The house is lovely and the garden had a certain charm despite it being winter. Breakfasts were fulsome and the evening fireside rests with reading and time together we're just what we needed.

You won't be sorry staying at Laurelville. Beautiful old building with friendly hosts. My husband and I stayed a night in room 2/3 with sitting room and ensuite. One night wasn't enough. Breakfast was welled cooked and tasty. Came in winter but will definitely return in different seasons.
