A fantastic experience into the world of yesteryear. This historic B & B is a reminder of what life was like in Western Australia pre the 1st world war. What opulence there would have been. Richard and Nola have created a wonderful escape for couples wanting a change of scenery a little out of the ordinary. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were full English style plates with personal touches added by Nola who I would say is a very good cook. Thank you both for a very memorable trip back to a time when people believed in working hard for the finer things in life. P.S we loved your humour. Gill & Lynn Wilson

A great place to stay in York. Comfortable and clean, full of history ( we were fortunate enough to have a tour of the bunker underneath the house). Lovely grounds with great views and a secret garden. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts, and a tasty cooked breakfast. What more could you want?

Nola rescued my mum and I when we had no where to stay in York. She welcomed us into her home and went above and beyond to help us out. The mansion is a beautiful place to stay, very relaxing and everything catered for a nice quiet weekend. The breakfast is delicious and freshly cooked for you. We would definitely love to stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone

Nola & Saul Bliss were our generous, gracious hosts in this lovely grand old mansion. Nothing was too much for them, the rooms were beautifully furnished and the service they afforded was second to none. The added bonus was a very enthusiastic greeting from Benji their 5 month old golden retriever who welcomes you with the gift of a stick!
