Faversham House was built by the pioneering Monger family circa 1840 and is one of Western Australia's oldest privately owned colonial mansions. The manor has been lovingly restored and furnished with Victorian-style décor to offer a blend of 21st-century comfort and 19th-century charm. The care and custody of this iconic property recently passed to new owners Emerson Munro and Kimberley Anning.
With seven manor rooms and two additional ensuite rooms in the servants' courtyard, Faversham is the perfect place to host a family reunion, get together with friends, or have a romantic retreat. Explore the delights of the Avon Valley's wildflowers, heritage towns, hot air ballooning and nature walks ... or just relax and soak up the atmosphere at Faversham.
The new owners invite you to turn off your mobile phone and step back in time as you sit by the fire in the drawing room, explore the books in the library, or indulge in some old-fashioned games in the parlour. Don't be surprised if you find Emerson strumming the harp or Kimberley playing the guitar by the fire.

I arrived at Faversham House hoping for a little respite from a sad and stressful situation and I could not have chosen a better haven. Not only is the house beautiful - both grand and homely - but the hosts at Faversham House so welcoming and so professional. I felt I had landed exactly where I needed to be. The room was comfortable and luxurious. I spent a couple of hours enjoying the winter afternoon sun on the upstairs verandah and another hour or two in the evening by a roaring fire in good company in the sitting room. After one of the most delicious breakfasts ever, and a walk around the grounds, I left feeling renewed and cared for. Thank you Emerson and Kim.

This place is just so lovely. It’s a wonderful place to just go and stay at to relax, away from work and the city life. The rooms are so charming and the beds are amazing, so comfy and the pillows too. We had an ensuite room and it’s just what you need and very clean. The history of this place is so interesting. I just loved walking around the grounds whilst sipping a glass of wine or sitting on the balcony overlooking mount brown. We ordered a charcuterie board and it was amazing, it was so large and the food was delicious. The bottle of red wine was great quality. The breakfast is a very nice cooked breakfast with continental as well . You can go for a lovely walk into town as it’s only a few minutes away. I can’t fault this place this is our third stay. The service is great and the owners Emerson and Kim are so lovely and friendly. If you’re lucky you may hear them play some of their instruments. They are Very talented musicians. This will definitely be my go to place for rest and relaxation. …
