Detailed Reviews
Stayed a night in a one bedroom chalet, rooms somewhat dated but included all facilities as listed. Friendly welcome and all efficiency at check-in. Glad we had a kitchenette as dining options ate very limited in Wongan Hills after dark. Great base to explore nearby attractions.

Booked and paid online. Park was almost empty and i drove in on a sunday, so as there was no-one at the office I selected a site. Water and power was easy to access, some site had concrete slabs. There are amenities, camp kitchen a gazebo and firepit area but I did not use them. Very little road noise and a quiet area but still in walking distance to town. The park is dog friendly but bring your own doggy bags. The town iga is in walking distance one of the best I have been to.powered site was $30 a night.

+1
This park has a good camp kitchen with a TV, no fan, separate BBQ area in a rotunda & good amenities with a resident spider on one of the ladies toilet cubicles.it is walking distance to town which has an IGA, bottle shop, Newsagency & a pub, service station & tyre place across the road.
Would recommend here as a lovely spot to stay.
We scored the only cement slab on site 7.

With spacious level powered sites and plenty of drive through bays this is a great caravan park to base yourself when exploring the wheat belt.
We stayed 4 nights in Mid Nov and found there is plenty to do and see even though the wildflower season is over.
The added bonus was that the park was very quiet at this time of the year and with plenty of shade it was not too hot.
Wongan Hills has a great tourist information centre and the town was buzzing as harvesting is getting underway.
Highly recommend a stay here.

Great little park nice sized sites so you're not sitting on top of each other. Amenities a little dated but clean and tidy and nice hot showers. Lots nature reserves around to checkout the wildflowers and orchids. Same as most wheatbelt caravan parks there is road noise from trucks, but certainly at this time of year it wasn't too bad.

Convenient location in small town with stores, restaurants etc. Good location for wild flower walks. Big concrete sites. Good ablution facilities. Kitchen is small but has an oven and excellent washing up sinks. Large outdoor barbecue area under a shelter - very nice.

This is a great privately owned caravan park. Well maintained with spotless ablutions. Is well priced and well suited to people just wanting a plain, clean and friendly park. Owners were friendly, helpful and welcoming to the park

Friendly check in. Big level sites. Older ablution block but clean. Great BBQ area. 2 minute walk to the Main Street. Plenty to do around the area. Very interesting and well kept large Museum that was well worth a visit. Bakery and cafe had great coffee.

A warm welcome greeted us on arrival. Clear instructions on how to find our new type cabin.
The cabin was clean and tidy but it does require a little bit of maintenance such as the imitation skirtings have come unstuck from the wall - this would appear much nicer if re-adhered to the wall. Just little things like this can make a place looked uncared for.
Being Spring time, the nights are still cold so to have a split system air-conditioner, which I have to say was quiet, to warm the entire place was really welcome. There were extra blankets available for the bed too which we needed.
The park was really quiet which we appreciated.
Water for the shower and kitchen was lovely and hot, no waiting for hot water to filter through. Another minor improvement for the shower room would be to provide hooks on the wall or a small shelf above the sink.
Definitely a good place to stay when in Wongan Hills. We would stay again.

We stayed at the Wongan Hills Caravan Park for 2 nights whilst visiting family in the area.
We received a friendly welcome upon checking in and, as the only camping guests in the park, were told we could set up anywhere we wished, a definite perk of visiting in the 'off-season'! Their busy season is apparently from August onwards due to the abundance of wild flowers in the surrounding area.
There are a number of sites around the park, majority of which are on concrete pads, and some of them have shade. However, there is also a good scattering of maturing, native bushes throughout which provide some privacy and a bit of a wind block. We really appreciated the latter as it was blowy with a definite chill factor.
The ablutions block is clean and the water hot. There is a camp kitchen, but we didn't use it as are self sufficient. There are a number of new looking cabins, a number of which were occupied.
It is a very peaceful caravan park, despite being by the road, and for $22 a night for a powered site, we considered it very good value.
During our stay in Wongan Hills we visited the large IGA for supplies, the pub for a pleasant drink, New Norcia (approx. 45 minutes drive away), Lake Ninan for a paddle and Mount O'Brien Lookout to watch the sunset.
We're already planning our return visit for wildflower season and shall once again stay at the caravan park. Although we'll miss having the facilities to ourselves!
