Detailed Reviews
Flora Valley is a little gem among B&Bs, surrounded by farmland and small rural blocks it is about 2km from the centre of historic Toodyay. Flora Valley is an arboretum having a multitude of uniquely Western Australian small trees and shrubs through which you are free to meander

Friendly & inviting property & owners. A few minutes from town. Continental breakfast more than adequate with cereal selection, orange juice, 2 types of bread with jam, peanut butter, vegemite & marmalade & coffee.
The bed was large, comfortable & warm. A tour of the property is recommended for those interested in flora & fauna.

Bob & Val were most welcoming and very friendly. We were greeted by happy dogs and enjoyed a tour around the garden which amazed us. Bob is very passionate about his garden. We learned so much about Eucalyptus and it's inspired us to get our own garden together!
Lovely comfy big bed and continental breakfast - all help yourself - and privately. (I prefer to get up and about quietly without having to make small talk with other guests!)
Can't comment on the shower, as we had a power cut and it went off just about bedtime and wasn't to come back til 3pm! Bob very kindly gas boiled some hot water for tea and we had a jam sandwich rather than toast! We improvised and were quite happy. It was a brief but happy stop over.
(Curry Club in town closed Mondays)

This lovely accommodation is only a couple of minutes from the centre of town with lovely views of the surrounding valley and local fields. Our hosts Bob and Val were wonderful and provided a tour of their native garden which abounds with a large range of eucalyptus and acacia full of colour. Our accommodation exceeded expectations and was very comfortable with a separate sitting area and a small balcony with seats and table. Great value.

Many of the B&B's are quite a way out of Toodyay but this has a rural feel and is very close to town. The best room - with ensuite - has its own sitting area/table/fridge etc which does connect with the family house via a spiral staircase but we did not find a problem and enjoyed the space. There is a pleasant balcony area and the bedroom has a mega comfy very large bed. The self service breakfast is modest but adequate - but the highlight was the tour by Rob of his block, filled with interesting trees and bushes - no botanical names, just an enthusiasm for the diversity and fascination of what he inherited from a former CEO of Kings Park and what nature provides. Part of the package - normally 45 minutes tour but we took nearly 90! Good free wifi

This is a fantastic establishment set in almost natural grounds among select plantings of eucalypts that give fantastic colour in season. Our hosts could not do enough for us as my wife has walking difficulties and because of this, breakfast was served in our room. Recommend this establishment to any age group.

We stayed with Bob and Val for one night as we were going to the nearby space place. They are friendly and approachable hosts, the facilities are excellent and it's only a couple of minutes from town. A particular highlight for us was Bobs garden tour. He showed us throughout his native garden giving a very knowledgable commentary the whole time. We would definitely stay again. 10/10
