Breakfast included and we were given the continental breakfast items to put in the fridge the night before as apparently due to COVID restriction they did not serve in dining room. The next morning while cooking our toast we found mouse droppings on a plate in our kitchenette. I took the offending plate to the owners as we checked out. She asked why I had not told her sooner. I pointed out that we had just had breakfast and had not checked the cutlery and crockery when we checked in the night before. The hand towel was very thin but hand soap provided. Overall it was clean and somewhere to stay, but felt over priced.
Quiet area and could park the car by the room.
A short walk to the riverside pub for dinner (about 10 mins just across the bridge) which was fabulous.

The motel room and bathroom are shabby and need a complete renovation. The window ledge in bathroom has evidently never been cleaned and had a collection of dead insects. The toilet seat lid is cracked. The shower curtain is too long. The shower head needs replacing with a more efficient water wise one. Both washers in the shower taps need replacing as they have to been turned off incredibly tightly in order to stop dripping. There were roughly 10 sheets left on the toilet roll - fortunately we had brought a roll with us. There were no spare rolls in the bathroom drawers.
There is no security on the back door at all - chain or lock. The cleaner knocked, but then walked in before we could reply or get to the door.
There’s a nail hidden in the chair, which could easily result in an injury. There are no coat hangers in the wardrobe. The aircon is noisy and outdated.
We have stayed at this motel in the past some years ago. After this experience we will not stay again.
Absolutely terrible!!!
Indigenous of another country people on full swing . Responsible drunk parents, don't forgot intimidating and fowl language. Of course ringing the non existent reception resulted in
'fend for yourself'.
Earlier in the night we had already rung reception and they asked them to keep it down. 11.00 music begins, swearing laughing,12.30 again and finally the great cresendo at
2.07 AM!!!
GEE,
thanks reception
Thanks Northam Motel
What a great way to start my holidays.
CRAP.
The room was a little dated but no real issue.
The problem was the piss poor attitude of the front counter. We asked for a late checkout. We were even willing and offered to pay extra to check out late. But the rude arrogant person on the front counter.
The price was so over inflated for what we got. $130 for the night in a hotel with 30+ rooms and only about 5-10 people staying there(from what we could gauge with the amount t of cars parked up)
