Upon arrival we were reasonably please with the quality of the room which had a comfortable bed and a cosy bathroom including a good spa bath however things went down hill from their. At checkin, we were advised that they were not cooking meals on the night as they were having a karaoke night and that we would have to...

Stayed on Friday night. No information given, just the key. I don't know where the dvd was or how to access free in house movies. No phone in the room, how you got room service as advertised on the site I don't know. The room was comfortable and pleasant but had a musty smell. Once the thumping music from the...

Still waiting almost 3 months later for a receipt. The wont answer my calls and when they do the manager is not working. They also do not return messages. This hotel was nothing special and gave me nightmares. I don't think it was worth the money. I WOULD BE HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS OF GOOD REVIEWS WRITTEN ON THIS HOTEL

Its good to have a hotel with all bedrooms having their own bathroom. Other hotels in Northam only offer shared bathrooms. This hotel is in the centre of town which is great, the river is close by as is parks if people have children.

I stayed at the shamrock for 2 nights. It was an average stay. The room was abit daggy and could do with a mini make over or atleast new quilts and curtains or something. The bathroom was clean but the towels were small and crunchy. The bed was comfortable though, the sheets were a little stained. It's an old building...

what a pity the hotel reception, bar, dining room and outdoor area are such a disgrace, unkept and dirty because the rooms have been beautifully renovated and could be so nice. If it was not for the dirt in the rooms, dead blow flies and moths and the smell of smoking and cooking it would have been good. This is...

Had to stay last month in another motel, Shamrock was fully booked (everyone going ballooning, had a great night though talking about heights!) I will never do that again. New chef and a great menu good service and a good sleep. Will definitely be back there next trip to WA.

Have stayed at the shamrock a couple of times, it's old but nice. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast was good. Alright for a night or two but probably wouldn't stay for longer than that. Onsite restaurant was delicious with good sized servings.

We stayed here on Sunday night before our balloon flight on Monday. The Shamrock is a tired old lady with glimmers of her stately past. Stained glass windows, beautiful old staircase, lovely open fireplaces. We had no complaints with our room or ensuite, the food was wholesome ( large serves) and the owners were friendly. Like the hotel they are...

I stayed at the Shamrock Hotel and there was a lot to like about it, but also a lot I didn't like. Firstly it's an old pub (the sign says 1866) that's got heaps of character. It looks like it might have last been renovated 20 years ago, so it does have things like en-suite rooms. At the time of...
