Wheelchair accessibility

One of the worst motels for the following reasons; 1) Passing through Norseman to Perth, we stopped in and asked about their wheelchair accessible rooms. We were assured that their rooms were 'no worries' accessible. After a long drive from Perth to Norseman, I couldn't even get into the room, 2) We were told the restaurant was open until 7:30pm. We rushed to the restaurant only to be told at 7:15pm kitchen closed, no food; 3) The alternative room provided was old, did not have an accessible bathroom and was some distance from the car park. Yet, we were charged more money because it had a kitchenette. I'll let you be the judge, and finally 4) Not one move from motel management to say sorry, apologize or demonstrate contrition about their untruths on wheelchair accessibility.

Below Average

Basic Basic Basic, we got the front rooms which were hot and very noisy, the room smelt terrible. There were no creature comforts at all in these rooms. I was very grateful we were only staying 1 night and that I had bought all my own linen, and the sheets didn't look all that clean. Given how hot it was the air con was restricted which made for a hot room.

Bike break

A well located place just short of town and the turn off to the East and right next to a Servo.A warm and welcoming greeting from at reception from the Owner/manager. Room was adequate and had what was needed for our overnight stay. Meals were good and well portioned though dinner was short on options and the “Gordon Ramsey languaged” chef , lol, let everyone know from the kitchen. Would definitely stay again

Disappointing

Very disappointing expensive overnight stay. Large rooms but sparcely furnished with what looked like secondhand miss matched fruniture. TV was the size of a postage stamp, screendoor on front door kept falling off, blind in main bedroom was broken, kitchen sink was dirty as were drinking glasses and tea towel. We were informed upon check in that the bistro and bar was closed (Sunday night) for renovation and would reopen on the Monday which left us buying dinner at the Ampol Service Centre.

Poor service

Stayed here in room 35 Went to have a shower and shower head fell of so needless to say couldn’t have a shower Reported this to owner several times but got no reply Very disappointed as we paid good money for the room

Best place to stay in Norseman

Best place to stay in Norseman. My pooch and I stayed in a pet friendly room - very clean and comfortable. Friendly and accomodating management were very happy to post my phone charger which I'd left in the room. Would defs stay again.

Perfectly fine

Perfectly fine hotel when you account for the difficulty of running a motel in a remote location. Restaurant was closed so we had dinner at the pub and breakfast at the cafe - both in the main street. It turned out great as we experienced local life more than if we had eaten in.

Don’t book through a travel agency

The room they gave us was small with 2 beds with no cupboards or drawers for our clothes yet the room near us was double the size with a double bed with only 1 person staying in it who booked in after us, when we complained they said it was because we didn’t book direct with the hotel so it seem if you book through a travel agency you get treated like second class citizens my advice avoid at all cost.

Great place to stay when working around Norseman

Rooms are very spacious; owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great and plenty of room for big vehicles to park. Definitely will aim to stay here again when in Norseman for work.

A trip to remember

Probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed, while the rooms are large they stink of an industrial cleaner, I had to air the room out for 2 hours, just bearable. The TV is about the size of a small computer monitor. The check process was borderline aggressive, almost like we where an interruption to their day. The Food, now that’s a story in it self, I had 4 meals there and all were less than soup kitchen quality, although it was a large serve When I mentioned one of the meals I had was less than ordinary, the manager got very aggressive, so don’t complain 💩
