Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped on Norseman for the night and thought we'd treat ourselves to a meal we didn't have to cook ourselves.
We were not disappointed.

A fantastic selection on the menu and all at great prices. We enjoyed the Norsy Burger, Ribs and a side of veggies for the baby.

The pub is quite busy with locals and mine workers so get in early to secure a table for dinner as the dining room only has around 5-6tables and dinner service is from 6pm to 7.45pm.

Ordered pizzas which were very good. However there were no smoking signs but lots of smoking there while we were eating. Even one waitress was smoking while she cleared the tables. Not impressed - I know lots of miners are there but I thought smoking was against the law in eating places. It made our experience not good. Pizzas great but overall experience bad.

Not much to look at from the outside, but the pub is a reasonable place for dinner. Service very friendly and prompt. Large selection on the menu.

What we had was quite good, very well presented and nice to dine on.

We were really glad the information centre had told us to go and order early, although it only half helped as only 2 of our 3 meals arrived. After waiting 30 minutes for the third we finally caught the attention of the young waiter who was run off his feet. He said it would be out shortly but then returned saying the bar staff only put the two meals we received through so we would have to reorder. He was extremely apologetic and got our third meal through quickly and in a takeaway for us although it came without salad or gravy as ordered. At this point we didn't care we just wanted out.
Management couldn't have cared less and were rude from first impression to last.
If it had not have been for the helpful waiter and the fact there was nowhere else open in town to eat we would have left without the "missing " meal which we had to re pay for.
I guess when you're the only option you can charge and treat people as you please.

Booked this motel in March 2022, was reconfirmed in December 2022 that we had a two bedroom apartment for two seperate people. When arrived in January 2023 we only had a queen sized bed, not the two bedroom apartment that we had booked and confirmed. When we arrived they did not have the two bedroom apartment only a queen sized bed. When we advised this was not our booking, the staff were extremely rude, no rooms available, did not have our booking and told us that they could not accommodate us. After arguing with them they offered us a fold out bed. As it was late in the evening we had no alternative but to accept this offer. I am 75 years old and do not wish to sleep on a fold out bed. We were offered a full refund, we accepted the offer, as to date of writing we have not received this refund.

Food good, but service lacking.

Had a table in the dining area, ordered pizza which came out in take away boxes. Kids meals came on plates however.

Asked for plates and cutlery for the pizzas - still waiting!!

Make sure you take your own plates and cutlery into the dining room!

My daughter and I decided to take a brake from camping and stay here, safe to say we are back in our swag, we booked paid but, just the walk to the room should of been more then enough for us to turn back but I thought it couldn't get worse..
We walked into the room, 50yr old fridge unplugged and open MOULDY, only heating was above the 100 year old bed and bedding that smelt musky!
Veranda door jammed closed so could even open it to remove the smell, which can only be described as death!!
The toilet was on the other side of the building which I had to use my phone to even locate it, we didn't use it thankfully!!
Absolute disgrace, we spent 5 minutes there even my 7 year old stated she didn't feel safe..we grabbed our bags and left, I wasnt asking for a refund as the man that I had spoken to in the bar to book a room wasn't very welcoming!!!
Go stay at acclaim by the servo.

I had a medium vego pizza and my partner had the Mexican parmi. Pizza was huge and packed with toppings. I couldn’t even eat half, but was able to take the rest away with us. My partner enjoyed his parmi. Both came out fast, with friendly service.

Best pork ribs ever. Slow cooked. Crispy chips and fresh salad. Would thoroughly recommend for a great meal. We shared the ribs and also have mash and veg which was awesome. This is our second day visit, we were here 4 months ago.

Spent a memorable night here in 2000 on a ride all the way around Oz for one of my books, and what a find in the middle of the Outback. A very warm welcome from owner Therese Wade, comfortable rooms, a good recommendation for food nearby, and a nightcap back at the hotel under the stars. I still look back on it with warm memories.

The room I had was $40. Small room, single bed. Ideal for what I wanted. It saved me putting up my wet tent somewhere
