We only spent one night here but will definitely come back. Tranquil and peaceful. Home cooked meals were yummy. Met interesting people. Lots of surrounding areas to explore. The bread baked on premises is the best. The room was basic but comfortable.

Spent a night in the guesthouse, very basic but clean and comfy no views as rooms face an inner courtyard with lovely bird attracting bushy plants, very pretty. Help yourself to tea, coffee etc in the guest kitchen at anytime of the day or night,...More

We have stayed at the New Norcia Monastery Guesthouse for many years now. Expect no frills, but the guest-house rooms are comfortable and the ones we have stayed in are now airconditioned. We usually ask for one alongside the atrium garden. These are all ensuite....More

In keeping with St Benedict's Rule of hospitality for guests, the Monastery Guesthouse is a place of retreat for individuals and groups from all walks of life and beliefs seeking to quietly share the simple life, More prayer and rhythms of the Benedictine monastic community of New Norcia. All are welcome to join the monks for the daily celebration of the Divine Office in the Monastery Oratory and Mass in the Abbey Church. Individuals and groups are able to take part in their own Retreats at the Guesthouse and Spiritual Direction is available on request. The Guesthouse can accommodate 24 guests. There are eight twin-share rooms with en-suites and six single rooms and one twin room with shared facilities.The restoration of the Pig keepers Cottage is now complete and we are pleased to be able to welcome guests who would like to spend their time at New Norcia in solitude. It is close to the Monastic buildings so guests have easy access to the Oratory and Church for the daily round of prayer and Mass. You have the option of having meals in the silence of the Monastery refectory or arrangements can be made to collect meals from the guesthouse and take them back to the cottage. All meals for residential guests are provided in the Guesthouse Dining Room. Meals are a self-serve style and are offered in one sitting at the same time as the monks.
