Detailed Reviews
We stayed for a couple of nights at this Caravan Park. We were very impressed with the standards of cleanliness and welcoming hosts.
We were going to stay in a motel but we are so glad we didn't. It would be a perfect place to brake your trip if you're travelling from Kalgoorly to Perth. The bays are roomy and shady with lots of trees. There is a pool to cool down in on those hot days. The price per night is very reasonable at $30 a night and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There are also plenty of self catering cabins which look clean and well furnished, and the camp kitchen is also very well stocked with cups, plates and bowls etc.. Try it if you're in the area. You won't be dissapointed.

My wife & I booked into a Merredin tourist park chalet, we had never stayed here before whilst travelling between Kalgoorlie & Perth but definitely will again.
Extremely neat, tidy clean, both the chalet and all surrounds, very impressive.
I consider this to be superior value t a motel because not only is there more room than a standard, or even superior motel room, there isa seperate bedroom, choice of 2 bedroom chalets and one can do some cooking and bring food along, if that is your thing.
Particularly at moment with so many smalll town restauarants, pub ood, cafes etc closed bring yoru own tucker along and cook.
We didnt, went to teh local Chicken treat and bought a whole chook.
So all in all, we were taken by the premises, impressed!

We arrived here 24/4/21 after spending a night in You at the Settlers House cost $99 for a double room. The booking we made here was for a double room and to my surprise it was a donga style room noisy air conditioning and very cramped no room to walk around the bed nor anywhere to sit except on the bed. To fill the kettle had to use cups as it would not fit under the tap.
Definitely won’t stay here again

After experiencing a terrible Park in Kalgoorlie we came to Merredin and stayed at this park again.
For a country park it is excellent. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The entire park is well maintained and clean. Reception and laundry look like new buildings.
We had a lovely drive-through site for our night there and the lady on reception thoughtfully put people on alternate sites so we all had a bit of space around us - now that's what I call considerate.
I totally recommend this lovely park if you're doing the Nullarbor and need a stopover at the western side.

We were most impressed with the Merredin Tourist Park. We had a 2 bedroom Executive Chalet which was well equipped and most comfortable. Undercover parking is adjacent to the Chalet and there were well kept gardens lining the interior roads.
Although the park was full it was very quiet and we barely noticed any noise from the Highway or trains.
The kitchen made it easy to self cater and we were pleased to find a full sized fridge

+1
We stayed at Merredin Tourist Park for one night on Saturday 16/09/23 (Chalet 22) at this beautiful little park and we were extremely impressed.
We had a planned an overnight road trip checking out some sites around our beautiful wheatbelt and this park was exactly what we were looking for.
The chalets we nice and modern,
The park and chalets were nice and clean, and the park was peaceful and relaxing. And the staff were polite and friendly.
This may sound funny – but we were also quite impressed with the water pressure of the shower and taps etc.
We commend the Park managers on a fantastic stay and will happily recommend the park to our friends and family and have already done so with work colleagues who are planning a similar trip. We kind of wished we were staying for longer than one night.
Thanks for a lovely stay!
A few places that we checked out along the way and would highly recommend also are:
Mangowine Homestead
(National Trust listed Residence)
Nungarin Heritage, Machinery & Army Museum
Merredin Railway Museum
Merriden Military Museum
Commercial Hotel Merredin - Lovely meals with couple of cold Ales to relax with. (Recommend Pre-booking a table for dinner)
Wave Rock & Hippos Yawn, Hyden
A total of 900km's travelled through our magnificent state over 2 days enjoying the wheatbelt regions.
Get out there and check it out!

Very nice park. It was a pleasure to stay at a park that actually had a well laid out area for tents. Mats with plenty of room, camp kitchen was excellent, very well supplied appliances, very clean next to sites, Ablutions close also. Very reasonable rates. The best park I have stated at.
The only downside was the noise from trains and trucks, which is out of their control. A pair of earplugs at night helps with this
