Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at Merredin Tourist Park for one night on Saturday 16/09/23 (Chalet 22) at this beautiful little park and we were extremely impressed. We had a planned an overnight road trip checking out some sites around our beautiful wheatbelt and this park was exactly what we were looking for. The chalets we nice and modern, The park and chalets were nice and clean, and the park was peaceful and relaxing. And the staff were polite and friendly. This may sound funny – but we were also quite impressed with the water pressure of the shower and taps etc. We commend the Park managers on a fantastic stay and will happily recommend the park to our friends and family and have already done so with work colleagues who are planning a similar trip. We kind of wished we were staying for longer than one night. Thanks for a lovely stay! A few places that we checked out along the way and would highly recommend also are: Mangowine Homestead (National Trust listed Residence) Nungarin Heritage, Machinery & Army Museum Merredin Railway Museum Merriden Military Museum Commercial Hotel Merredin - Lovely meals with couple of cold Ales to relax with. (Recommend Pre-booking a table for dinner) Wave Rock & Hippos Yawn, Hyden A total of 900km's travelled through our magnificent state over 2 days enjoying the wheatbelt regions. Get out there and check it out! #wanderoutyonderwa #justanotherdayinwa

We were most impressed with the Merredin Tourist Park. We had a 2 bedroom Executive Chalet which was well equipped and most comfortable. Undercover parking is adjacent to the Chalet and there were well kept gardens lining the interior roads. Although the park was full it was very quiet and we barely noticed any noise from the Highway or trains. The kitchen made it easy to self cater and we were pleased to find a full sized fridge

I cannot fault this accommodation. I stay here for business regularly and am always walking into clean spacious chalets with all amenities on site being very clean. If there is an issue with anything not working, there is always someone available and their response time is excellent. The beds are always very well made and pillows clean and plump. The pool is always clean as nd the property well maintained. Excellent

Stayed for one night with our caravan in August 2023. We had a drive through site at the front of the park. The site was spacious and easy to park, we had room to leave the car attached as we were just staying overnight. We have stayed here previously in a cabin (located at the back of the park) which was excellent. However, the front of the park is close to the main highway and the train line and it is NOISY!! Ablution block was clean and tidy. The park was well maintained. But we would probably find somewhere a bit quieter next time.

Very clean park; trees for shade; crushed blue metal for your site and lovely hot showers which are always a bonus. Located on the edge of town, but found it very noisy as directly on Highway and rail line, so freight trains and trucks all night long. A decent walk into town centre but it had everything, plus tourist sights.

I'm staying in the worker units, which necessitates that I use the camp kitchen. Immaculate! Has everything and everything in good condition and so clean. Great, friendly staff. Have stayed here before, will come again.

Stayed in Cabin A2 for one night in March 2023, on our way home from an eastern states trip. Lovely cabin, well appointed and at the rear of the park. Good shower and hot water. Friendly reception. Went straight in the pool after a day of travelling (on motorbikes) in 40+ heat . No food close by so need to drive in to town for food options. Train line is close by but did not disturb us at all. Neat and tidy country park with various accommodation options.

This caravan park is an absolute credit to the managers. Amenities are spotless grounds are immaculate. It’s a must stay after crossing the Nullarbor. So good we have booked another night. Regardless of the road noise. One of the nicest parks we’ve been to

Arrived after hours with no booking. Very clear signs lead you to a “black box” inside are envelopes with a map inside. The front of the envelope tells you if it’s for caravan, motorhome, tent, trailer, powered site. We just picked an envelope and put ourselves in. Then you just go into the office in the morning. Best idea ever!!! Friendly staff, and towns folk too. Got directions to the bowling club for a very nice meal.

Thanks to the very professional staff at the Merredin Tourist Park for the recent welcoming stay. I was accommodated overnight in a chalet which was in remarkably good condition, well maintained and very clean. I had to put in some work hours in the chalet and it was roomy enough that I could spread out equipment and papers very comfortably. I noticed there were also excellent facilities for tourists and campers to use and the grounds are in tip top condition. Thanks once again to Mel and Deb for your hospitality and for arranging to post back to me, at no cost, the personal items that I stupidly left behind! I can't recommend highly enough and I will definitely be staying here on my next country trip.
