I recently spent 2 nights at the caravan park. No doubt that this is a spectacular area in WA. However I was shocked to find that staff had locked the only disability bathroom on the second day I was there. Their website advertises disability facilities, but then discriminate against people with an impairment. I rang the office and was told - there are other toilets/showers open. I asked that the bathroom be reopened, but that never occured. I have worked for many years in the disability sector and was astounded that such prejudicial attitudes could still exist. It appears that staff assume that people with a disability can negotiate steps, can manouvre in confined spaces, and will not complain. I however feel strongly about such poor behaviour. People with a disability are entitled to the same treatment as all other guests and should be respected as valuable customers/guests.

Nice caravan park with well maintained and cleaned ablution blocks. Great location for walking around Wave Rock. Close to town although a bit too fat to walk for us. Very good museum to view with many items bringing back memories. Staff were first class, very friendly and helpful and very apologetic tan out other attractions that were closed. The lace museum, miniature soldier military collection were closed. Apparently owner told staff to close up as there weren’t enough tourists around. Not good for tourism and we were disappointed, but not the fault of the caravan park

We stayed on a Saturday night on an ensuite site (no. 6) driving from Perth with a slight detour down the tin horse freeway (so funny!). As we had a motorhome we visited Mulka’s Cave (really worthwhile) and the Resort Salt Pool (bit of fun) before we parked up in the late afternoon. Wave Rock is a very short walk away so we visited it first just before sunset taking a bottle of wine and some crackers and cheese to watch the sunset from the top. It’s always a treat to get an ensuite site when travelling in a motorhome as it almost feels like you are in a hotel room with a nice big shower. This one was no exception, lovely and big with the toilet separated from the shower. There were a couple of dead bugs in the sink but no big deal as we are in the country. I’m guessing the ensuite was sprayed prior to our arrival. At about 9 we went back to the rock and lay on the warm curve under the rim, turned off the lamp and star gazed. Not another person there. Simply amazing (saw a couple of shooting stars as well)! One of the highlights of our road trip! Booking the caravan park was unusual, rather old school. We rang to book the site as we couldn't book online but then were told we didn’t need to provide an email address as a confirmation wouldn’t be sent. That said, at check in everything went very smoothly.

Nice park, spotless amenities although very little room in the shower cubicles. Great meeting area and BBQ’s even a well maintained pool. The sites are pretty tight but people around all seemed friendly. Staff pleasant enough. A bit pricey perhaps but it did cover entrance to Wave Rock.

Spent two nights here with friends clean modern facilities with everything you need. Kids have heeps to keep them occupied, close walk to Wave Rock and free entry included (dont know how you would pay anyway). Has small kiosk for those forgotten items, plenty of BBQs and seated area's.
