Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Called in on Saturday afternoon to have a drink at the bar. Went to reception and told we had to go further down to the next entrance. We did this and it was locked and we could not go any further as there is a high wire fence. Not sure if the bar is even open??

After paying nearly $400 for a ‘deluxe’ room for three adults, we were only provided with one small tube of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. We asked reception for one additional tube of body soap which seemed to be a problem. Housekeeping finished at 4.. not sure why this would limit providing a necessity for a room? But. They did not have access to the soap supply. The receptionist did her absolute best to help out and delivered conditioner and moisturiser to the room, but no body soap? This was a great place to stay along the Tanami, but I feel they could lift their game in this area - most travelers would have plenty of red dust to remove… Friendly staff, clean rooms, great bar, lovely pool, gardens and reasonably priced food considering the distance of the beaten track. Soap though? Bring your own 🤔

Unassuming from the outside but a wonderful place to stay. Manager greeted us on arrival and bade farewell as we left. Fabulous buffet dinner and great selection for breakfast. Very comfy rooms and wifi if you need it. I loved it. Great staff too!

Came here for a work trip for 2 weeks. Room was great. They didn't have any of the rooms with a kitchenette so the staff lent me a microwave to use. Thanks guys! Staff great, rooms nice and large and clean, bed very comfy. Locals can be a bit of an issue, so make sure you don't leave anything in your car or in sight.

Taking on the advice of WA’s tourism team I decided it was time to once again ‘wander out yonder’ and my stay at Kimberley Hotel Halls Creek did not disappoint. I’ll be honest this was my first time to Halls Creek and while it’s known to be the gateway to some of the State’s most spectacular natural attractions, media coverage of the town’s troubles did make me slightly anxious. This quickly disappeared on entry to the hotel which in the simplest of terms is an oasis in the middle of the desert. The grounds are well maintained, the accommodation is clean and our two bedroom unit had all the mod appliances required for a short - mid term stay. The pub was busy (very busy!) on both nights of my stay however this didn’t compromise the food or service. The food was delicious. I later learnt that my beef cheeks had been prepared by the hotel’s head chef Francois (formerly of Flutes fame!) and the wine list showcased some of WA’s best including Cherubino’s Cruel Mistress. Hands down the highlight of my stay was the magnificent service of all on-site. While we continue to hear about the shortage in WA’s hospitality industry which in turn is code for ‘giddy up and suck up our bad service’… those working at the KH appear to have missed this brief. The staff actually appear to like working here and treat their clients with respect. In turn I bow down to this team and applaud them for making my stay a memorable and positive one!

After a very long drive, it was great to finally arrive here. The rooms were basic, but comfortable. The food was amazing, and there was so much of it! The staff were very helpful. It was a fair hike to our room, but there was a group of us, so no drama.
