A welcome change to feel valued as paying guests as this has not been the case in some places we have visited lately. Since starting our journey some weeks ago we have heard so many reasons why ‘service’ has been so poor primarily blaming the Covid pandemic, however this establishment instead of making excuses took action by training and mentoring inexperienced people to fill the gaps, so a big wrap to the management team.

Hotel's Favourite
The Comfort-Inn Bay of Isle is very centrally located, right across the road from the esplanade, walking distance into the town centre and short drive to the best beaches. The rooms are large and spacious, well set out with loads of storage space. Huge television in the room – which I loved with ‘free to air’ and Foxtel channels. Good quality reverse cycle air-conditioning/heating. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good room lighting. Desk/chair, two seater lounge chair with coffee table. Kitchenette with kettle, tea/coffee/biscuits/milk. Stocked mini-bar. In room safe, iron/ironing board – basically everything that you would require for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms are clean and our room had a bath and separate shower. Good water pressure, very hot water, good lighting and working exhaust fan. Hair dryer and decent lighting so that you can put your make-up on. The property had nice grassed area’s, a clothes line for guest to use. Swimming Pool, BBQ area, loads or parking and a well equipped guest laundry with washer/driers. WIFI was included in the room price and was very quick. Loads of parking available right outside your room. The staff are helpful, check in was effortless and informative about local attractions and the cleaning staff did a good job. All the staff we encountered were delightful. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were lucky to find accommodation on the long weekend. Good location to walk into the town centre. The room was a good size, bathroom & especially the toilet could have been cleaner. Receptionist very pleasant when checking in. Unfortunately our room was near the kitchen which made for a lot of noise in the early morning & at night. We reported the noise issue & were advised it would be addressed & if it was it made no difference, the noise continued. There was also a workman who was extremely noisy working & also talking to staff & on his phone.

Booked this place from reviews on here, not sure what they were thinking. There is no sea view rooms in this hotel? Stated premium bedding in our booking, bedding was horrible and towels were grey and thread bare. More like a back packers hotel. No one would sit around the pool area, not a nice place to sit, guest bbq was disgusting. Only positive thing about this hotel was the food in the restaurant “Eljays” was very good, went twice. Would never stay here, too bad!

Rooms are big for families and right on the beachfront. Maybe not ideal for an extended stay but good fora couple of days. Check in was quick and the staff were friendly. They also sell bags of ice which is convenient for travellers.
