The chalets were clean and had all the amenities you would expect from a nice hotel. We were so happy to have somewhere our dogs were welcome, and we all enjoyed walking around the block and swimming in the dam. Heaps of wildlife too - kangaroos at dawn and dusk, a frog chorus, and ring-necked parrots twittering about. Not too...

My family and I stayed over the weekend. It has plenty of outdoor space and a beautiful lake but the kayaks were run down/leaking and the gazebo area is overrun with weeds. The accommodation is a good size for 4 people and generally clean but the sofas were all scratched and marked from pets. The electric blanket didn't work, sheets...

This was our first trip away with our dog. I was a little concerned about how clean the place would be if it allowed pets. I could not have hoped for more. The place was spotless and fresh, and Jude has thought about all the little extras you expect from a hotel. Toiletries, gowns, slippers, hairdryer, plenty of soft towels....

A great place to just let loose and relax. We were a group of 3 families with little kids and all of us had a great time. The chalets were of excellent condition and truly self contained. The owners Jude and Harlod are lovely people and set up a few surprises for the little ones getting them to mingle with...

Jude and Harold that run the Lodge are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. The chalets are air conditioned, clean and well stocked with everything you would need, even down to dog bowls and magazines. The canoes on the lake are great fun for all.

Great cottages, self contained, perfect for a getaway with the family - even better if you have a dog! Bring nothing but yourself and some activities for family games night. 2 bedroom cottages with everything you need. 5 minute drive into Dwellingup. Small dam with canoes to keep the kids entertained.

We spent two very relaxing nights with our two pet dogs. Very very clean, neat and comfortable. Beautiful grounds. Well appointed kitchen and very comfortable king sized bed. Only 15mins from Dwellingup and 30mins from Pinjarra. Will definitely return soon!

We stayed here for a weekend. It was great for my primary school aged child. Great place to roam safely. Exploring the lake via kayak was perfect way to burn excess energy. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Lovely hosts provided guidance to the local area. Loved the donkeys, too. Recommended for families.

Third time we have stayed. Best dog friendly place we have stayed at in WA. Chalets are well appointed and furnished with everything you need to a very high standard. Close to new bliss winery and not far from Dwellingup town and Pinjarra towns

a series of chalets, 1-2 bedrooms, the dwellingup forrest lodge was just what we needed for some tranquillity and family time. The major drawcard was it being so dog friendly, dogs were allowed off lead and had fun running around and playing in the lake The canoes at the lake were fun as was the games/TV room with pool table....

“I presume most of the chalets are the same, but I believe some are two bedroom, and there is also a wheelchair accessible chalet. (Consider this if your dog doesn't like stairs, those in the chalet are quite steep, especially for a little one!)”
