Had lunch there and enjoyed it. Staff friendly and welcoming, the menu was impressive for a pub with things like home made chicken kiev, club sandwiches, burritos , roasted duck and more. Prices were reasonable. Amazing views of the blue water in the beer garden and good aircon in the bar to escape the heat. Wouldn't hesitate to go back...

Room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom spacious. Outdoors around the hotel was quite rough. Enjoyed the pub too however food was a let down at the restaurant. Customer service was great from all areas.

Went to the hotel to see how it related to Red Dog the movie but there wasn't even an info board. The Red Dog Memorial in Dampier had a little info but apparently the best place to go is Karratha library if you want to know about Red Dog.

Stayed just one night passing through and to be honest the thing that strikes you most is the fantastic potential going to waste. A view to die for, a great site, but it looks like no one cares. Anyway the room was passable for $99 , the shower was hot and the kettle boiled ... Enuf sed

We stopped here just to have a cold drink after looking around Dampiers port area. The people and the staff too here are friendly. We sat outside and fed crisps to the birds. Noticed that the place has extensive menus on various nights, and a Courtesy Bus which is always a bonus. Very clean toilets too. Seems family friendly. Would...

Excellent, well prepared & presented meals. Good value for the price. Lovely view. Huge plates - crayfish mornay with chips, 2 slices of garlic bread & salad and schnitzel surf and turf -fresh sweet prawns- with chips and salad were big enough that we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Don't mind paying mining town -...

Well we were not too sure what to expect from the Mermaid Restaurant but we are so glad we ate here. Such value for money, and the food was really good! I had the Oven roasted lamb shanks and 2 great big shanks came out in a bowl, the meat was so tender and falling off the bone, the taste...

Well situated, recently renovated, comfortable Hotel. We enjoyed the 'all you can eat' barbecue on a Sunday night. Our room had a lovely ocean view and was equipped with tea and coffee making facilities along with a fridge. Air conditioned and comfy bed.
