Detailed Reviews
I stayed at Merrijig for opening ski weekend in 2012.
The accommodation was great, chalet was very neat and tidy, the food was awesome and it was a good location to access the amenities at Mount Bulla.
The price was economical and meals were included for our stay!
I travelled with a group of friends and everyone had a great time and loved the Chalet

Was invited to ski Mt Buller with family staying at this ski club. Great location with buses leaving every 10 mins from just up the road. Accommodation was clean, warm and very comfortable. Shared shower and toilets were very clean. Best part was the meals included, Di the chef is amazing, breakfast was very enjoyable, but the included 3 course dinner was just way above what we had expected ! Loved staying here and felt very welcome

I decided on this lodge as the pictures looked good & it included breakfast & dinner. I thought I would give it go, however wasn't too sure what to expect.
Loved it! Beautiful views and
So clean & comfortable
Loved the fireplace, lounge room, friendly & warm atmosphere and then.... I Wasn't sure whether to ski or relax & chill with the beautiful views.....
there is the food!!!
Arriving early evening, We were greeted with mulled wine & canapés & the smiling & beautiful Alana.
This was followed by a 3 course meal, that was of an incredibly high standard cooked by Massimo the chef. Alana & Massimo, the co managers were very friendly, warm and delightful to deal with. They made us feel so welcome. Loved Merrijig lodge & we are look forward to returning!

Had an awesome weekend at merrijig ski club, the mangers were so friendly, accommodating and helpful, with a late arrival on Friday night they saved meals for the group, nothing was a bother and the mood and energy in lodge over the weekend was terrific.
Cant wait to get back for the next weekend at the snow

We had a great time at Merrijig Ski Club! The food was amazing, delicious choices for every course and the nibbles at happy hour were tasty too, especially the unique fried olives! What a great team the chef and caretaker make, clean and well cared for rooms and such a warm friendly atmosphere. Great to visit with friends or with family, my first time at he snow has made me keen to visit again and again!

My best friend and I came here for a milestone birthday of mine, - too old to admit to!!
The snow was average, the village was a bit bleak but the food and service of the inn was absolutely spectacular! There are no words to describe the quality of food Di produces.
I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy some amazing restaurants in incredible cities in my time and I can honestly say the food at Merrijig Inn equals that of fine dining in restaurants in Paris, London, Sydney and Amalfi Coast amongst others.
Sadly it’s taken me ages to write this post, I’m currently in an exclusive resort in northern Tasmania wishing Di was here to cook our dinner - hence the need to write this post.
Please consider this inn if you like kind service brought by the sweet and lovely Corteney and honestly, outstanding food courtesy of the very talented Di.
I can’t recommend this place enough!
