Fantastic accomodation very close to the centre of Bright. Motel was spacious, clean with a small kitchenette and large bathroom. Two TVs and a comfortable lounge with ample car parking. No need for keys or card , access to room was via code. Easy.

This is our second stay at this great motel. Yvonne and Peter are great hosts. The rooms are immaculately clean. We were upgraded at no extra cost. Great location close to town. Highly recommended. Looking forward to staying again soon.

My partner and I have stayed at the motel several times before and always loved it. My mum is visiting from overseas so decided Bright is a place to visit with her. The room is clean and the bed super comfy. The motel is in a great location, walking distance from cafes and restaurants. Never been disappointed! Bright is one of my favourite places to visit! We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for 4 nights and the room was spotless and just a beautiful location.Walking distance to the restaurants and pubs.Staff were helpful and highly recommend it to anyone.Also had a enclosed bbq area and swimming pool which would be very nice in the warmer weather

I was assaulted days before the stay was booked. Developed an infection and couldn’t travel. I offered to provide hospital records and doctors advice. Yvonne was completely inflexible. She will just reiterate policy. I run a business too. There’s business and there’s hospitality. I am more of a human to my clients and I’m not even in hospitality. Enjoy the money Yvonne. And don’t bother with one of your usual snide replies to this bad review. It just shows your anger.

Dear Sean You had a 2 night booking with us on the weekend just gone, which you had booked via booking.com, with a 30 day cancellation policy. We first heard from you around midday on Friday, the day of check in, to advise that you had a concussion and may not be able to make it. We explained that you could transfer your booking to a friend or family member, or cancel the booking in the hope that someone else would rebook it. You then asked if you could still come up on the Saturday. Of course, we replied, you had booked the room, and if you wanted to come on the Saturday, you could arrive whenever it suited you, you wouldn’t have to wait until 2pm check in. You then said you would “hedge your bets”, not cancel your booking, and try to come up on Saturday. We didn’t hear from you again until your wife called on Monday and threatened to leave a negative review if we didn’t provide a credit or refund. As we explained on the other reviews you have left, communication is key. If we had of known about your circumstances prior to the day of arrival, we may have been able to resell your room. Travel insurance is always a good option to cover these unforeseen circumstances.

An excellent motel that was clean, spacious, and quiet. It was a bit cool for a swim, but the pool looked great, as did the BBQ area which looks one of the best around. Staff were friendly and helpful. As mountain bikers we chose it as it has locked storage shed for bikes, a wash-down area and two repair stands. These were all excellent. One minor thing is the hanging racks in the storage shed, only a few were wide enough for MTB tyres. The other racks would suit tyres on road and hybrid bikes. To avoid people not hanging up mountain bikes they may need to consider replacing some with racks to suit a wider range of tyres in the future. Location was good. As easy warm-up ride to Mystic Mountain and a short stroll to restaurants in the evening. Will certainly stay there again when up that way. …

A beautiful well presented motel . It has been renovated to modern standards and is sparkling clean and bright. Loved the outdoor enclosed area that allows groups to gather in comfort for drinks or a meal together. Kitchen and BBQ area is exceptional. We travel widely and this is one of the best country motels we have stayed in.
