Detailed Reviews
The hosts were very accommodating and friendly and amended our booking on arrival at her suggestion, so our boys could have separate beds. They also provided us with information about other places to visit, as well as the Grampians.
We stayed in one of the new two bedroom cabins that was less than 12 months old from its appearance. The cabins are small in area, but more than make up for that with cleanliness, clever design and excellent facilities, including three TVs in the cabin; and games, toys, a pool and generous parking for all guests.
Although the trucks and trains were annoying on the first night, we didn’t even hear them on the following (Friday) night. The park itself was very clean and quiet, and we didn’t have any noise from neighbouring guests, even though we were close to the camp kitchen and pool.
Happily stay there again!

Great little park close to town, managers Matt & Kaylene are doing a fantastic job running this park.
We took advantage of their powered site deal stay 4 nights and pay 3 and were checked in by a very friendly and informative Barb who even walked to our site and guided us in. The amenities although older were spotless with extra touches of bath mats for showers a wall heater and even a radio station playing. The camp kitchen had every thing needed to either cook or relax in the very comfortable large room, they even had coffee and free biscuits, DVDs and books.
Would highly recommend this park if in the area.

Lovely family run caravan park. We stayed in a brick unit which was tidy and clean. Bunk beds for the kids and a nice firm queen in the master bedroom. Excellent air-conditioning (outside heatwave temps were 35 to 40 regs during the day) which the owners had running before we checked in so was a nice cool place to escape the heat in after the long drive there. Decent sized modern fridge and two LCD TVs as well. Bathroom a little dated but clean and functional.
The caravan park has a small pool, playground and trampoline and is walking distance to main park, big public pool, supermarket, service station and main town and the town itself a good base location to get to the region's tourist attractions including wineries and Mackenzie Falls.
This was great value for a good base location (sightseeing during the day). Will definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

This is very well laid out park with great amenities. The park is not huge which to us is a big plus but it has everthing we need. The camp kitchen is well equiped, and kept very clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to prepare a meal here. The owners and staff are lovely. The lady who showed us to the site made sure we parked the van so that we could step out on to a dry area. It was raining when we arrived. They are preparing two enclosed sites for pet owners which look great and will be a real boon for those travelling with pets. All in all we will certainly be back and recommend this park to all travellers regardless of your accommodation needs.

From the lovely greeting upon arrival to the time of departure, our stay at Acacia Caravan Park felt like a home away from home. The park is meticulously maintained and it is evident in every aspect that our hosts treat their guests as pseudo family not just travellers passing through.
The amenities were immaculate and smelt delightful, as did the laundry. The camp kitchen, like the amenities, immaculately clean and every possible whim of a camper has been thought of, even down to complementary biscuits and sweet treats on arrival.
After a long drive and tent pitch, the perfectly sized pool was beyond relaxing. My 9 y.o was thrilled that her needs were acknowledged with a trampoline, totem tennis, playground, gigantic chess set, cricket set, games, books and toys.
The layout of the park allowed safe scootering and walking and the pitch sites are more than adequate.
On a personal note, if you are used to quiet when sleeping, I would consider bringing some earplugs as the bustle of the nearby transport that keeps our consumerist needs met, continues throughout the night.
Our homeschool journey to SA continues tomorrow but we will most definitely be returning to stay at Acacia Caravan Park when we next venture this way again!
Cheers!
Wishing you happy and safe travels. 😸

Park was neat and well maintained. The grounds had been awash from recent rain in the days prior to our arrival but the mangers and staff had cleaned everything up to ensure we had a dry site. Shower blocks well maintained with provision of a once use bathmat a great idea. Pool was well used. Fantastic camp kitchen.

Decided to stay in a small town park way to and from Adelaide, one night each way. The facilities are spotless, camp kitchen has everything provided including cutlery, tea towels, showers had rubber mats and complimentary bath mat. Travelled with daughter and her family, grandkids loved the pool and trampoline. Office open until 7pm also, staff willing to help with anything to ensure stay is enjoyable. And priced exceptionally well. Will definitely remember this park when the need arises.

We stayed here overnight in one of the cabins on site. Really impressed with how clean the accommodation was and it was the extra little things like thick quality towels, soft fluffy doonas, comfortable beds and plenty of cutlery and crockery that made us feel at home. We notified Acacia that we would be arriving late on booking and also the day before and it was no problem. The caravan park itself is well cared for and the staff and owners are very friendly. We stayed during the week so it wasn't noisy and we got a good night's rest. We'll be back again, loved our stay here.

This park was immaculate, set out very well and had full amenities. Great camp kitchen with access to Microwave, Fridge, books, tv, sitting area, snack machine and a coffee machine. The bathroom & toilets were very well kept and clean, they had fresh bath mats if required. We also made use of their secure fenced powered site, which gave us peace of mind that our dog was safe & secure. Owners were very friendly and accommodating, you will not be disappointed with this park, will definitely come back if we’re down this way.

+1
Because of the virus there were only a few caravan parks open. This one was one of them. And what should we say? Until this one we haven‘t been at such a lovely caravan park. The holders were always friendly+ helpful and the space for our motorhome was bigger than normal.
The amenities were really clean and there have been travel tips on the inside of the toilet doors + bath mats for free.
Also the laundry + camp kitchen were clean. There is a swimming pool but we didn‘t know if we could use it during that time.
There is a big street + train tracks near the park - but we haven‘t heard of it during the night.
Thank you for your patience!
