Located just over a kilometre from the town bars and restaurants, this basic motel was a little dated but clean and spacious. A good value option to tour the region further rather than return to Adelaide. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

Stayed here recently. Located within easy reach of the wonderful Barossa wineries. The motel is clean and comfortable but rather dated. if you are looking for budget accommodation at a good price then this is the place to stay. At reception we were greeted by a friendly 4 -legged receptionist. My only concern was the smoke detector mounted on the ceiling, with its cover wide open. Didn't seem compliant!

Reasonably priced accommodation. Spacious room with two queen beds. The room is showing it's age but was clean and adequate. Undercover parking was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well located in the region with easy access to local eateries.

This traditional motel is has plenty of rooms and no stairs to climb. Our room was spacious with all the facilities you need for a short stay. The reception staff were friendly and a single row of grape vines outside our sliding back door reminded us that we were in the Barossa Valley.

Recently stayed at the Barossa Motor Lodge Motel and found it very good for an average priced motel. every carpark is under cover and shaded which was great as it was quite hot for the period we were there. We had 3 dinners at the Bacchus Restaurant and while the menu was not huge it covered most tastes and the cooking was excellent in particular the chicken snitzel topped with the tomato chilli and white wine sauce which I thoroughly enjoyed on one night!!. The motel hosts also run the restaurant and are a fantastic couple. I am a red wine drinker and as it was quite warm I prefer it to be chilled. After asking if this was possible each other night when we were seated out came my bottle of wine in a metal wine cooler with ice in the bottom! On our last night when we had finished our meal and were relaxing while finishing our drinks the host asked if he could join us for a drink and chat which we were happy to dO AND ENDED UP HAVING A GREAT CONVERSATION. tHEY ARE A LOVELY COUPLE BUT UNFORTUNATELY PLAN TO RETIRE SOON!!
