Lovely and reasonable place to Stay in a quaint old house - our room had a kitchen as well that was really well appointed. The owners were unbelievably nice to us and I can't say enough good things about them. Really nice little touches included like a litre of milk in the fridge and chic chip cookies, olive oil and...

We decided to book the Emerald Suite based on its advertised proximity to town. We're running the marathon on the weekend and thought it to be ideal. In all honesty, the Emerald Suite's only redeeming feature is the fireplace, which was well stocked, as was the kitchenette. This is really one room, with a sofa in the corner and a...

THis is a Fantastic Little house, with different kinds of "apartments"/ roomswith Place for a lot of people, well enough for our Group of 13, including my two grandkids of 1,5 and 3,5 years old. House is according to info, from 1890 and the old charm, is all around you! Very nice! ( Just remember to check in at Getaways...

We were here as a wedding party with us staying in an apartment and the others in the main house. The apartment was well equipped for self-catering and fabulous en-suites in each room. The on-site pool was lovely and the BBQ and surrounding eating area perfect for our group. The house itself was incredible with so many beautiful rooms and...

Whilst it is a beautiful old house with timber floors, be aware that the units are interconnected and share the same timber floors. Add energetic kids or people getting to bed at night and every footstep is heard in your unit. To be fair we were not disturbed by voices or the TV. Also the notion of being close to...

Beautiful and romantic old house. Immaculate condition with anything you need. Fireplace in every room. Superb swimming pool with bbq area. Overlooked by apartments which look very nice from outside but as i never stayed in them cant comment.

Great for a big group - but would probably not for a couple only booking one suite. This is one very big beautiful old house that has been divided into 4 sections (suites). We booked three-quarters of the house (Diamond, Emerald and Ruby suites) for a 13 person group and the doors between the suites were open, so we had...

At $285.00 per night expectations of "Emerald Dreams " were high - but these were marred by a inadequate after-hours (off-site) reception procedure. The booking confirmation (internet) did not have a detailed map for access and after two phone-calls for directions we nearly accessed the wrong room much to the amusement of the ensconced dwellers; considering safety and security issues...
