Detailed Reviews
We spent 3 nights in our camper trailer on an unpowered site in this lovely park beside Lake Fellmongery. The sites were grassy, garbage and recycling bins and tap with hose were close by. The amenities and laundry were spotless and inviting. The camp kitchen and common room were well-equipped, including a slow combustion heater. It was a short stroll to the main street of Robe.

We were lucky to successfully bid on Travel Auction and fared a 10 day stay on powered site. We stayed 5 days until the Covid-19 raised it ugly head and we thought it better to go home but only after negotiating that other family could take up the remaining prepaid 5 days to be used before Dec 11th. The amenities were always clean, thoroughly sanitized with instant hot water and well laid out shower cubicles. Management was friendly and assisted when we had questions. Whilst the area is sheltered it still gets its fair share of cool to cold winds that kept flags in the town looking like they were cardboard as they hardly went limp for the first 3 days. Other two days were gorgous.

We stayed 3 nights in a standard cabin with an amazing view of the lake.
It was affordable and much warmer than camping. The beds were comfortable, but bring your sleeping bag (we did) as it gets cold and the doona supplied is light weight, but they were a bonus as we didn’t expect them.
The cabin was adequate and the fact that the kids room was separate was great. It had everything you would want and need.
They are a little dated and could use a detailed clean (under beds and lounge dust bunnies etc), but was good value.
There is plenty of BBQs (one right outside the cabins) and a camp kitchen with log fire just a short walk away. We didn’t need that though.
The hosts are lovely and doing a lot of work to give better lake views and improve the place.
Well worth a stay!

We spent a week here and had 2 powered sites next to each other. The park was great! Only a few minutes to town, our sites had lake views, and was only a shot walk to amenities. The amenities themselves were good. Clean bathrooms and great hot showers.
There was a laundry but we didn’t use this about $4 wash and dry
The camp kitchen was also fully stocked and the dining area had a TV and wood heater for cold nights.
The playground was very basic, would be good to see maybe a swing set.
Overall had a wonderful week and it’s not a matter of if we will be back, but when we will back.

This was a very welcome stay. Thank you!
We had been travelling for a while and it was starting to rain, it was winter and it was a windy day. We had originally booked for just a campsite but when we arrived we asked the question if we could upgrade to a cabin and they had one already ready to go. We paid the difference and were very greatful to the lady on the counter.
They had a heater, hot showers and a full kitchen to cook a warm meal. It was all very welcome and it was clean and there was no last minute things they needed to do to get it ready, we simple had the key and drove up. Thank you! We really needed a good nights rest after camping and driving every day so we did have a really great sleep.
The cabin could go with little upgrades here and there as it is starting to age but beautiful views, very peaceful and lovely safe grounds with great customer service.

We booked Lakeside Parks as they are one of the only accommodation in Robe that allowed pets.
We stayed in the studio cabin and was very impressed. The view was spectacular from the verandah, the cabin heaters worked splendidly to keep the cabin warm in the middle of winter, electric blankets on the queen bed was also lovely. The space was clean and comfortable and very good showers.
We left a mobile phone behind and the staff was very quick to contact us and arranged the phone to be posted back to Adelaide.
Highly recomend Lakeside Tourist Park and will definitely be back.
Our bulldog also really enjoyed his stay!

Stayed for ten nights, we weren’t impressed. The site we were given we were squashed in, surrounded by much larger vans, long walk to the amenities, definitely not lake side! rubbish bins were beside the office, not located around the park, having to trek the rubbish to the bins. Numerous piles of building waste around the park, very untidy. Several of us had ten night travel auction deals, all put in the same area away from the lake, one couple left before their ten nights, were fed up.

We stayed 4 nights in a lakeside villa. The villa was comfortable but there was an unpleasant smell as soon as we walked in, it improved with airing but remained throughout our stay. The room could have done with a freshen up before we checked in to clear up the dead insects. The park is located a short walk from the main street. The free Wi-Fi was a bit inconsistent.

+1
Stayed Saturday 22nd February for one night in a delux villa. The villa was close to the lake with limited views, lucky for us there were no carvans sited between us and the lake so had a view. The cabin was old and needed a good clean. I guess we can't complain too much as we got the cabin at a good price with our G'day rewards card and it was only for one night..

Sites 59 + 60 are capable of taking a 21 ft van are close to the dump point but we have not had any issues to date well protected from any winds. Sites 85+ 86 are suitable for 18 ft vans close to the play ground short walk to the amenities gate to the side of site 86 where you can walk around lake into town
