After the gourmet breakfasts before and after Robe House we were slightly disappointed to find a DIY breakfast in the fridge. We appreciate now that this is how you do it but we had not been forewarned by Trailfinders. As it happens, this suited us on this particular day although sliced white bread?? The room, bathroom and breakfast were otherwise...

Thanks for your review of Robe House. It is very frustrating for us to hear that your agent is not selling Robe House correctly. We have been providing the same service for 20 years now and we do not like our guests to be disappointed! We do provide approximately half a loaf of bread each day for breakfast, half of...

It is well thought out at Robe house with most bases covered. Comfortable bed, good shower, laundry facilities, small kitchen and breakfast products. We stayed in apartment 5, the fairly recent conversion. It was small, but well thought out, and has a great space with a little table in the garden.

This spacious, charming and historic house, offers an overnight experience with an air of respect for the village's days past. The comfortable bed, good shower and well provided for self cooking breakfast (with more than ample ingredients in the refrigerator) is a perfect stop off point on the road between Adelaide & Melbourne. The owners will wish you a warm...

Hi John, thanks for your review of Robe and Robe House. Robe is a beautiful historic fishing village set on the South East coast of South Australia. It is the perfect stopover between Adelaide and the Great Ocean Road, and the majority of our guests wish that they had allowed an extra day to see all that Robe has to...

After spending three weeks in various hotels we decided to stay in one of robe house accommodations . It was a traditional cottage, two bedroom and we loved it , a really comfortable bed , an open fire which was set , a good kitchen and a shower room with plenty of hot water. I wouldn't hesitate to book this...

Couple mid 50's staying one night while travelling the coast from Adelaide to Melbourne. Quaint old stone building transformed into apartments. Having stayed in two large cities it was refreshing to arrive somewhere much quieter. The facilities were good, being clean and tidy. Food left for us to make breakfast, which is how we like it. It must have been...

We stayed one night. Apart from the fact that the toilet had a foul smell, which was reduced a little bit by leaving the fan on all night, this was not B & B. Food had been left in the fridge for us to prepare a "healthy" breakfast. Clearly, milk wasn't considered healthy, as there wasn't any! If we'd wanted...

Dear Sally and Peter, thank you for taking the time to review your stay in apartment 5 at Robe House. In Australia there are 2 clearly distinctive types of b&b's. The one's that English people are familiar with are the traditional type, however in Australia the most common type is self catering. I am sorry that we did not get...

An immaculate modernised cottage alongside the classic heritage building with the other four rooms. Beautifully furnished with well equipped kitchen aircon and good quality furnishings. Briefly met the owner who was charming and helpful. Pretty communal garden with sitting out terrace, and off street parking Added to this Robe is a super seaside resort!

We stayed here for one night and are so pleased we were here. Robe is charming but we thought the attention to detail at robe house was a step above. A little confused on arrival as you check yourself in - a far cry from the untrusting world we live in! Some fascinating history on the house (Robes oldest) is...

If you're staying in Robe, stay here. This is by far the nicest B&B we've ever stayed in. We were in apartment 5, which was stand alone and had been renovated in late 2014. The facilities, the cleanliness and comfort were all top notch. The buildings are set in a lovely garden with free parking, a few minutes' walk from...
