I stayed here overnight on the way to Adelaide. I booked a top floor harbour view room with a balcony which was lovely with great views. The room was clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable. Lovely welcome by the owner, there is a snack bar and I had a nice slice of toast and coffee in the morning. I would stay here again when I am next passing though.

This motel looked lovely upon arrival, the cafe a lovely touch (although we didn’t purchase anything). The main bed wasn’t super comfortable but wasn’t terrible either, would be better if it wasn’t on wheels and moved easily. Better access to power points in bed would be helpful (I need to use a cpap). One of the accessible power points on the side of the bed near the bathroom was not working at all. We intended to report this but we had to leave before 8:30am and there was no one available at reception before this, so can’t comment on how they would have handled this. Overall wasn’t a big issue for a one night stay. Something I found super strange was the note on the single bed (shown in picture). Why give a room to 3 guests (yes one was an under 2 year old) with 2 beds but say one will incur a charge if used? It bothers me that other people could’ve sat on this bed, out their belongings on it, and the owners would not know and therefore not wash the linen, doesn’t seem right. Makes sense to include this charge in the price in the first place if it’s an issue. I understand this property is being renovated, not sure if our number 10 had been renovated yet or not but the bathroom tiles are in desperate need of grout cleaning. The shower was also full of limescale, the shower head was so covered the direction of the stream sprayed outside of the shower when the door was open, probably something a little CLR would fix. I will add that I am particularly concerned with cleanliness so this really bothered me. The towels could do with upgrading, they appeared to be originally white but had greyed over time. The complimentary wash products were lovely! They smelled very nice and nice to use. Other than this, the rest of the room was clean and tidy. A lock on the bathroom door would be very useful, our toddler kept opening the sliding door when the bathroom was in use as there is no way to latch the door. With a sturdier bed, a cleaner bathroom and no weird third bed sign I probably would have given another star.

Friendly owners. Upgraded my booked room to upstairs Harbour View King, for a price of course. The recently renovated room was clean, comfortable and modern. Nice and quiet so had a good night's sleep. Quite a decent view out over the harbour and the bay. I considered the price high compared to other places I have stayed recently, but this is Robe.

Wow! Where do I start, what a cracker — venue, so clean, fresh, the staff exceptionally polite and helpful. Our ‘new’ room / suite was absolutely incredible. Cannot wait to come and stay again. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, honestly could not fault one single thing. The new Coffee shop was literally 10/10 and we ordered the bacon butty and the cheese and ham toastie. Cannot wait to order the same again tomorrow morning, a genuine thank you to Tim and Kate, an absolutely incredible transformation 🩵

What a great find! Katherine was great to communicate with and was warm and welcoming. I arrived at night with a phone that had run out of battery and couldn't find the place. When I rang her for directions she came to me in her car and I followed her to the accomodation. A very kind gesture on a cold night. The room was spotless, well appointed, comfy bed, great hot shower and smart TV. All in all I couldn't recommend it more. My thanks to you Katherine and your team.

Very nice motel, the motel overlooks the harbour (as the name suggests !) and a large green area. When I arrived, the town was closed because of the Christmas pagent, so I walked down and watched that. Being from the UK it was very surreal watching something christmassy on a hot and sunny day ! I didn't have a harbour view, but a standard motel view, which was absolutely fine. The room was very clean and tidy, I am guessing that they have just done a full refurb. The only slightly negative thing that I could find, would be that the bed is on wheels and if you are sitting watching tv, the bed moves away from the wall.... Thats a stretch though. I highly reccomend this motel, and Robe itself was very nice too.

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were super friendly and the room looked fresh and welcoming. The toiletries ( NOOD from SA ) smelt amazing!. Good location, not too far from the main part of town.

We had an upstairs harbour view room which was lovely. The decor looked like it had been recently updated and looked great. We discovered that there was no room cleaning the following day and was apparently only if you were staying more than three nights. It was disappointing as part of a holiday is coming back to your fresh room.

Great family run motel, which has been recently renovated. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the sights, walks etc. Also, within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. The first-floor rooms have excellent views of Robe Harbour.

The room was clean and well maintained but quite small. It was just an overnight stay so was not a problem. The weather was windy and cold so drove around instead of taking some great walks around the harbour. Robe is a really nice town. The motel is quite expensive though, and seems to have been newly converted from another dwelling. Friendly staff.
