We stay at Coast whenever we drive across to visit family living in Adelaide's southern suburbs. We love the location right across the road from beaches and a great walking track. There are several good breakfast places within walking distance, including the cafe on site. Port Noarlunga restaurants a stone's throw away for lunch and dinner. Rooms are super clean and being upgraded gradually. The staff and service is excellent. We have stayed on the ground and 1st floor. 1st floor rooms have better views, but be prepared to carry your gear up 2 flights of stairs.

This is one of those Hotels that surprises you and you always return. Not a new Hotel but that’s not important. The rooms are decorated with modern furniture and finishing touches, are large, spotless, bright and airy. It was a pleasure to open the door and see the interior.
Jacqui delivers service with a warm genuine smile and instinctively knew which information. I might be wanting at check in. Her knowledge of the local area is fantastic, and all of her recommendations were wonderful.
The bed quality is superb as are the sheets and pillows. There is an electric blanket too which was a nice touch for the cooler nights.
There is a kitchen fully stocked with everything you would need to make a meal. And if you don’t feel like cooking or driving there is a lovely restaurant on the lower level that serves breakfast and dinner From Thursday over the weekend, closed early in the week though.
Good base to enjoy McLaren Vale wineries, easy drive.
All rooms face West and the ocean is just across the road, and being on the 1st floor, I very much enjoyed at the end of each day watching the sun go down over the water, just gorgeous.
Enjoyed 3 nights here so much I extended for a further 3, thanks Jacqui for a lovely visit :).

We spent two nights here in a Panoramic View room on the upper level of the property. Spacious, light and airy room, great amenities. Perfectly located across the road from the beach, the balcony was a lovely spot to watch the brilliant sunset.
The property has off-street parking and a really nice cafe onsite - breakfast was delicious! Check in and check out was seamless. We would definitely recommend Coast Motel and Apartments if you are looking for a seaside location close to everything you need but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

Does your favourite hotel have flowers and wine and a sunset ocean view waiting for you on arrival? Mine does🙌 The Coast Motel and Apartments is super clean and comfortable and truly the best place to stay if you are visiting South Australia. Jacqui and her team are like family and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need for a perfect stay including lots of hangers AND an extra rack to hang your clothes. Three women…lots of clothes lol.

I stayed in the Luxury Apartment at the Port Noarlunga Coast Motel for several weeks in November. The apartment was exactly as advertised on the web site. Besides the 270 degrees views over the Gulf of St Vincent from the terrace, the apartment was immaculate. The staff at these premises where just like family, ready to help out with any request that I had. The interior of the apartment was presented exactly as advertised on the motels web site. Nothing to say but complements all round for an exceptional stay at this address. Thank you to the management and to your friendly & very helpful staff in making my stay here a great and memorable experience. I do not hesitate to recommend this motel to any traveller to stay here, either for a long or a short term. Rooms are very large and family friendly. They’re self contained and well set up for short stays exploring the McLaren Vale region.
The staff are very laid back and not over the top with forms and procedures like some chain hotels. Be aware they have limited office hours but can accomodate late check-in if you phone ahead. They offered good advice on local things to see and do. Plus if you like a bargain, be sure to pick up some discount coupons from reception before you set off exploring.
This place is located out of town on a cliff top with an awesome view and amazing sunset. But you’ll need a car, or at least a bike to get around. It’s around a 4-5 min drive to cafes and restaurants, further to the supermarket.
Coin laundry on site. $5 wash and $7 drier.
If you want the hustle and routine of your large chain hotel this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re after a big room, quiet location with a good view, look no further.

After arriving and going through the check in process we knew we were in for a wonderful 7 nights stay. We were taken to our room by a very friendly staff member who pointed out the features of our room and the hotel. Our room was roomy, will appointed and immaculately clean. Everything we needed was supplied. The bed was very comfortable, the furniture and carpets were clean, the kitchen was sufficient enough to prep a meal if required and the bathroom was clean. Our room was on the second level and our views were lovely looking out over the ocean which we did comfortably from the lounge chairs in our room. There are also little chair and tables set along the veranda for anyone to use. Great location right across the road from the beach, where you can walk or drive to the restaurant and shop precinct (the walk took us approx 30 mins). Also the beautiful McLaren Vale is quick drive away. Great location, great hotel we highly recommend.

Great stay a tteh Coast Motel and Appartments - our usual AirBnB was overpried so we resigned ouselves to the local Motel - what great luck!!!
The room was huge, well designed and tastefully furnished with a lot of wood and warmth. The views over the southern ocean were just incredible (I'm sure we saw some whales).
The location close to the beach and the stairs and the inlet, was great. Parking was easy. The reception was friendly and helpful.
As for Breakfast (I think it is a separate company), the best of our holidays in Australia this year _ every other breakfast we compared to this one...
The only drawback was the heating which struggled with size of the room - it was winter in Adelaide and that must be pretty rare...

This was a return visit. When we stayed in Dec 2019 we had an issue with the a/c not working well when we were experiencing record high temperatures! We didn't complain as such as everyone was struggling. We mentioned it on departure in case it needed attention and were promised a discount on our next visit. Covid came along and we didn't visit again until Nov 2023. To be honest I didn't expect that note to still be on file ...but true to their word we were acknowledged and the discount was honoured by Jacqui. The standard of accommodation and service are very high and Jacqui and her team are clearly (& rightly) very proud of their property and customer satisfaction. I thought I had posted a review last year when I travelled but I clearly hadn't and I noticed because I was checking reviews with a view to visiting again next year.

Were there for 3 nights at attend a wedding. Beach just acccross the road & Decent Clean accomodation . The room was pretty spacious, tidy and above all, the staff (Jacqui& Tracy) were super friendly. Not to forget the friendly cafe staff as well. Throughly enjoyed the stay. Highly recommended. Suggested Improvement: Could do better if room service was provided daily and in-room laundry equipment would help.
