We stayed here for just the night but we will be back. I was greeted by Dianne who was so friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent, extremely clean and well presented. A fab shower. We needed to use the laundry and it was fast and efficient for a small fee. This is the type of place that you recommend...

This is a motor lodge. It does not pretend to be 5* and is priced accordingly. The rooms are clean, facilities ok, really convenient for town and local wineries. BBQ provided for guests and pleasant garden.

This is a surprise gem, you get a hotel style room for the price of a motel. The facilities are top notch, new room, bar fridge, plates, dining table, coffee facilities, irons, big room, great view and everything you would expect and some nice little things like a window cleaner to clean up your windscreens. Things that make you feel...

Great little place. The owners and staff are friendly and alway greet you with a smile. The bathroom is well appointed with a great size shower! Really well located between the Coonawarra and Penola. Cafes and restaurants are with in an easy 10 minute walk and the wineries start just a few minutes drive up the road.

Thanks for taking the time and for a great review. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. CML is a small family run motel and we try hard to provide a positive experience for all our guests...... looks like this time it paid off. Thanks again.

We stayed here on a relatively impromptu, overnight trip to Coonawarra. We booked the night before via the Qantas site - I'm not a big FF collector/user but it's always a nice little bonus. Seamless arrival and making our way to our room. Rooms are clean and provide everything you need for a couple of days stay. The toaster, kettle...

We were just after a room for one night, these rooms were great. A nice little verandah for a lazy afternoon sipping the local produce, followed by a comfortable bed. We had no problems here, the staff were most pleasant.

So glad you enjoyed your stay.... nothing better than sitting on the balcony sipping a white wine or red in the sun.

A group of nine travelled to Penola for a few days of exploring the Coonawarra Wine Region, and of course taste their delicious product.. We arrived on Sunday, 4th September and left this morning, 8th September. The rooms were well presented, fresh and clean, with a queen bed, table and chairs, TV, crockery and cutlery, fridge, hair dryer, towels, milk,...

We weren't intending on stopping in Penola on our way to Victoria from Adelaide, however, we were travelling behind schedule and figured we should take our time to be safe as it was getting dark. Having a look online, I found quite a few places that were available for a nights accommodation, however, this place looked tidy and modern, and...

A well-run but not very "welcoming" motel with large rooms and comfortable beds. Everything in the room worked efficiently and the bathroom was clean and well appointed. The price was a little on the high side but not excessive. Steer clear of the adjacent restaurant which is a separate business but very much sub-standard. For dinner it's best to go...

Thank you for the review however we're disappointed we did not meet your expectation and to hear we were not very welcoming.
