Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s okay, but the fact it’s $124 a night when the light and remotes didn’t work well and they did not mention the fact that they your room and the only water source is the bathroom sink which is not very hygienic.

As the title suggests. They have slightly refurbished the rooms, new bed nice linen towels etc. But the carpet was disgusting, the skirtings had at years worth of dust on them and the musty smell was overpowering. And you can see from the photos why we would be too scared to use the toilet... I don't normally leave bad reviews but we paid a decent price considering it's millicent. The pool which looked lovely in the photos was run down, tiles missing, cloudy and full of bugs.... And they don't have the depth marked I would say it was unsafe.... Our table and chairs outside had so many spider webs and spiders on the we couldn't use them. Positives, the bed was comfortable and shower was good. Its a big stretch to say refurbished.... The owners need to do ALOT of work

Had 4 day stay. Booking in was easy, friendly . Outside was average but very happy when we opened the door. Bathroom modern enough, room decent size, wifi good. Bed comfortable and warm. Although close to road we couldn't hear any traffic noice inside.

What a great find. We had just been in beachport and the hotel we booked was disgusting so we needed elsewhere! (Last minute) The rooms were clean and Will was welcoming! Great location with a great pool. Perfect when the weather was in the 40’s! Just one thing. The pool area could do with a clean from spider webs! I was a little scared to open the gate. 🤙🏻

Stayed years ago and the place is looking very tired now. A little effort in clearing spider webs outside (right by the key hole for our room and elsewhere) and mowing the lawn can go a long way in the overall appearance for little effort. The pool itself was clean but the surrounding garden was a sorry sight. No-one at Reception and there was a check in Kiosk outside. It worked great but wasn't explained when I rang an hour earlier to book. No tax invoice received or registration card to sign (as the place was locked up).Another guest arrived and was quite lost as there was no key for her and no-one was answering the hotphone. I did book direct and received a small discount which was nice.

Stayed in Millicent Saturday 5th. Arrived to be advised that the restaurant closed this week. No meals available for Dinner or Breakfast. Bed very comfortable all I needed. Bathroom very old and shower mouldy, not the bathroom in pictures. Very dated. Don’t think I would stay here again.

Stayed in the upgraded Deluxe Queen Suite, Bed was comfortable Clean with compimentary toiletries, was reasonably quite from road noise from he road out front, Staff were pleasant and came when we had a minor issue with maintenance. had some noise from neighbours when they left early morning. The staff need to clean up around the area where they have a campfire in the winter months. We had a ant problem about 4 hours after booking in , they appeared to be coming from the airconditioning ducting. Restaurant has been leased out a few weeks ago & I feel that the prices were a bit too high,
