Coward Springs, located on the Oodnadatta Track in Outback South Australia is an oasis, a restored and heritage-listed railway site, a place to relax and 'really get a sense of the outback and its history'. Once a thriving railway siding on the old Ghan Line it is now a campground and day visitor area.Attractions include the bore-fed ‘natural spa’; the Engine Drivers Cabin, restored and open as a museum; shady historic trees and date palms and new facilities built from recycled railway and telegraph materials.

Hidden in the sandrine is a wonderful oasis ,lovingly restored buildings with clean toilets. The museum was really interesting with fantastic photos on how it was transformed. The spring was refreshing and clean.
