#2 of 3 Speciality lodging in Marree
Come and stay at the Oasis Caravan Park! Situated in Marree, a beautiful outback town full of history and wildlife, the Oasis Caravan Park is an ideal location to rest up whilst on your Outback travels. We offer cosy cabins all equipped with en-suites, televisions and cereal and juices for breakfast. At night the campfire is lit and travelers are encouraged to sit with the workers and relax with some delicious home-cooked meals (we offer a two course meal for $10 per person every Saturday-Thursday). If you are lucky enough to be staying on a Friday night then everyone goes to the Oasis Roadhouse for a roast night that has to be seen to be believed. For just $20 for adults and $10 for children you can enjoy a three course buffet - no one ever leaves not feeling full! We are an extremely friendly bunch of people and it does not take long for travelers to feel right at home in Marree and begin to feel like one of the family! Come and join us for a true Aussie Outback experience!

The lady was very welcoming and friendly and went out of her way to looking after us. We had a drive through spot with a bathroom beside us which we shared with the adjoining van. The park was quiet and lovely and even had some grass growing. There was a camp kitchen which we used in the morning to have breakfast. Highly recommend this caravan park.

The park itself is pretty rudimentary but everything is clean and tidy and exactly as you need it for a quick stay. Good sized spot for a large van, power and grey water waste access and to top it off $15 per head for a two course meal and chatting with some great likeminded travellers. Would stay again.

So we booked a cabin here for one night at a cost of $130, i totally realise we are in a remote place and don’t expect a lot, but saying that this place is run down as hell, the camp kitchen is VERY run down with no cooking facilities, hot plates don’t work as there is no gas bottle connected, so its not really a kitchen just a sink with a few seats around it. Tv in our cabin didn’t work, front door didn’t fit or close properly, very poor quality and felt totally ripped off. The roof of our cabin is COVERED in bugs because of the way the front door fits! This place is absolutely stuffed!! hot and cold taps are backwards in our shower and kids burnt them selves on the hot water Seriously keep driving and stay elsewhere or sleep under a tree somewhere.

I expected my stay to be good but it went way beyond that, absolutely sensational, welcomed like a friend booking in. Water always hot, laundry facilities and the Camp Kitchen dinner was extraordinarily good.

Good basic facilities for campers. The evening roast served around the roaring fire was really good tucker. The entertainment by the singer set a good vibe and a nice social occasion to meet up with other adventurers in this remote Outback town.
