Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved this cottage. It was so nice and spacious. Well equipped also with food for breakfast and wine. We sat at the terrace in the evening with a glas of good wine and watched the sunset. Unfortunately we had only two nights at this beautiful place. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 2 nights in The Vines. Fabulous accommodation with great views across the vines and very quiet. Great standard of fittings and furnishings and loved the big jacuzzi bath!! Lots of good restaurants nearby, but we took the opportunity to enjoy a good barbie or two with excellent meat from the butcher in Lyndoch and a bottle of wine sitting on the verandah. Perfect!!

We loved our stay here - it was a great end to our tour of South Australia. The cottage was perfect, so comfortable and supplied with everything we needed. It’s a great location to tour the Barossa Valley with its wineries and the patio is ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day!

A wonderful oasis after a long drive along the Great Ocean Rd. We stayed in the Vines Cottage..no idea why it's described as a cottage.. it's a villa! And what a villa. Perfectly located amongst so many cellar doors and walking distance to Lyndoch. Attention to detail and wonderful provisions makes this a must place to stay. Wish we could stay longer!

Perfectly located in a wineyard, with great view and close to some winery. The host was very gentle and everything was prepared for a great breakfast! The Barn was wonderful designed and we felt home! Only disadvantage was the distance to Tanunda, where more restaurants are available.

Perfect, peaceful setting. Lovely touches with lots of lovely provisions left for us which are very much appreciated when travelling. Great for exploring the Barossa Valley. Beautiful gardens and plenty of outside space. Easy check in with very responsive and helpful hosts.

We stayed at The Vines cottage for 2 nights. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very well equipped with lots of little extras that make the stay really special. As the name suggests it is surrounded by vines in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend

Great place to stay and chill out in the Barossa Valley. Kayley was very helpful. Breakfast packs were generous as were the complimentary extras. Plenty of space. Quiet and peaceful but well placed to explore the valley. One of the best stops in our 5 week Oz trip from the UK.

I stayed in The Residence with my partner and it was just gorgeous. The gardens were beautiful with shaped hedges and lots of flowers, and the cottage itself is very comfortable, with a huge bathroom. I loved the local produce we had for breakfasts and all the kitchen amenities, like the coffee machine, microwave, and kettle. I would absolutely stay here again. Kayley and Jayne were so helpful getting us checked in and so quick to assist when the numberpad didn't want to let us in. I highly recommend The Residence for a peaceful and picturesque stay in the Barossa.
