Just out of Lydoch, we made a last minute booking as 2 couples. There were two bedrooms, kitchen well stocked with tools and provisions, everything worked and we didn't want for anything. It was very clean and very quiet. We used the outdoor BBQ and it worked well for breakfast and dinner. There was a spa which we did not...

One word would describe this cottage "adequate "very clean, quiet, only 2 cabins on the site, hosts very friendly. Furniture in the cabin dated, radio reception poor, toilet you can't swing a cat in, otherwise quiet comfortable. Good location and great breakfast provisions .

Dear Mr Keyes. Thank you for your review of your stay with us. It is important to us that our guests are comfortable and enjoy their time with us. It's dissapionting that our facilities were not to your liking. However, we are pleased that you found them clean and quiet and that you enjoyed your breakfasts, complementary bottle of wine,...

How can these owners charge nearly $200 a night for this type of accommodation? The furniture was old and uncomfortable. The airconditioner was an old wall type rattler. Haven't they heard of split systems? The shower was hard to regulate - it was either hot or cold! The fry pan to use for the breakfast was not a non stick...

Dear Mr Andrew. We are disapointed that you were unhappy with your stay and the facilities we provided. While we agree that the furniture is not ultra modern, it is not old and nor is the airconditioner. Wall air conditioners are available and common place all over Australia. With holes already in the wall, it seemed sensible to use what...

My husband, baby and I recently spent three nights at the cottages. With two cottages on the property along with the owners home this has the privacy you want without feeling isolated. While we were staying the owners were away so we were looked after by the lovely Joyce. We were treated like family, with Joyce kindly lending some of...

Stayed with my wife for 3 nights on a South Australia holiday. Good value for money. Set back from the road on a property, the cottages were very quiet. Owners supplied breakfast for a couple of days. Very nice people and helpful. Cottage had a small but usable kitchen. Very relaxing.

I re read the one 1 star review, and they must just stay at far nicer places than I. I guess its not a swanky resort with waiters and bus boys everywhere. Its not intended to be. This felt like our own little private house. I prefer this over the hotel feeling. Had everything you could want. breakfast material, coffee,...

My friend and I stayed in the Jacaranda Cottage in late Aug/early Sept. I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends. Our cottage was clean and neat and homely. The beds were comfortable. The toilet room was tiny, the basin and mirror is outside the toilet room and bathroom, the shower is above the bath and the bathroom and...

Hello Tracey. Thank you so much for your positive review. We do our best to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We will certainly look at providing more coat hooks in the cottages. The spa is kept at a permanent 38' which seems to suit mostly guests, but we can undestand that it does not suit...

I stayed here with my partner on the June Long Weekend and it was great value for money. Fantastic location just 10 minute walk from the main intersection, a lovely breakfast was provided for us and they even a slow-combustion fire heater to keep us warm!

Average, basic accommodation. Feels a little like staying in your Grandma's unit. You get what you pay for. Good if you prefer to save on accomodation so you can spend on fine food and wine. Lyndoch is a nice, small town with some good wineeies close by.
