Lyndoch Hill is very dated and falsely advertised. Every guest we spoke to over the 3 days we stayed there said the same thing. I will never book accommodation again without reading reviews first! As we arrived to unlock our door, 3 girls who had just arrived from Sydney came and asked to see if our room was clean, because...

I was unimpressed upon arrival given the outdated rooms and utilitarian bathroom. This place desperately needs an update because it does have great potential for a retro beatnik kind of vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is lovely with easy access to trails and bike path. Wifi exists but the connection is glacial.

I stayed here during September 2012. The stay was absolutely pleasant. It has got nice garden with almost 2000 rose plants. They also have museum with a lot of antic varieties to see and appreciate. They have got a nice wine tasting/bar where you can enjoy varieties of wines. The cook was awesome. I had some wonderful pasta and other...

A weekend away bought through Sunseeker holidays. The brochure we were sent confirming our booking looked very attractive! A nice spacious room, a beautiful chateau and all for $279! Wow! Well when we drove up to Lyndoch Hill I thought we'd arrived at a caravan park! Surely we weren't going to stay here in these cream brick circa 1970 s...

Disgusting rooms, very disappointed in the state of disrepair of our room, our two friends room and especially the restaurant. We chose not to eat there. Pool and garden area embarrassing, pool furniture should updated.

This hotel/motel is located in the barossa and is really great to go anywhere. The staff at check in are really friendly and there are two resident dogs that are so happy to be pat all the time. The room itself is big but the bathroom is a bit old and tired. The doors are okay but they could use...

Great location and friendly staff whom had us checked in promptly. We were in room 19 which had a little balcony that caught the afternoon sun. The room size is pretty big (you could do cartwheels) and beds whilst not overly comfortably not terrible. The furniture is a bit mish-mash with old and new and the bathroom is pretty dated....

The room was clean, however the bed was very uncomfortable - certainly needed updating. We were in room 17. We purchased a package which included cheese platter and a bottle of wine, however it was not provided at check-in and was over-looked. Had we not inquired, on our last day stay, we would not have received the cheese platter and...

My husband and I recently stayed here for 3 nights. As I had just had an operation we were using this as a recovery holiday. The staff were extremely helpful as I booked last minute and they were booked out they offered us the use of the Merlot House. Although not part of the hotel we were pleased to be...

Although comfortable enough the rooms were in need of a spruce up, our room for instance only had one bedside light, but it was not enough to spoil our stay. The food was great, loved both the breakfast and dinner. We took advantage of the discount allowed for hotel guests in the gift shop, and enjoyed the tour of the...
