We booked here last minute, after the home we rented fell through. The weekend was booked full all over, but there were 2 rooms left at Lyndoch Hill. I wish there hadn't been. Despite being 10 minutes away when we booked, the woman on the phone proceeded to take every detail under the sun, including the credit card to pre-pay...

In one word: disappointing. This place is struggling to maintain a three star rating. Grounds are disappointing - desperately in need of care and maintenance - rose garden was in a very sad state. Service- disappointing: Staff are very inexperienced- when pointing my drink was served in a cracked glass it was simply taken away - with no apology nor...

First impression as you drive up towards the driveway are highly favourable. Unfortunately, it all goes downhill from there. It's a motel first and foremost. It's old and is badly in need of a freshening up.The room is a good size and overlooks the beautiful rose garden. The restaurant is tipped as a "must see" but we're grateful to have...

The rooms are dated, badly maintained and had a musty smell. Carpets are threadbare and stained, furnishing dated and dusty. The only saving grace is the sprawling rose garden which is pretty and picturesque.

Got a phone call at 4:45pm advising reception was closing at 5pm and I was over an hour away and wasn't opening until 8am, wasn't convenient for me. The room needs updating, no shower curtain, 3/4 couch, one towel but a beautiful garden

What a lovely way to spend three days and three nights! Apart from being a starting point to explore the beautiful Barossa Valley, we enjoyed our room with a lovely view at the back. In addition, the breakfasts and dinner at the restaurant were most enjoyable. Finally, the Reception Staff (Melissa, Tanya and Mandy) were most efficient and friendly.

Nice rooms with pleasant views front and back. Welcoming happy hour, great breakfasts and a free dinner in the fabulous restaurant. There is nothing not to like! We have been there several times and hope to go again soon.

It's a great starting point to explore the Barossa Valley ! It's better to stay on a 'mid-week special' and it's CHEAPER than hiring a 'cabin' at the local Caravan park ! The gardens are massive and well kept. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but hay, you're in the Barossa . There's plenty of great restaurants in the local...

Restaurant was nice and a nice walk around the gardens here but I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms were filthy we had all bugs all in our bathroom, one of the lamps didn't work and sleeping in bed you wake up with all your legs itchy.
