Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Very comfortable stay in Villa 1, which is roomy, clean & very well equipped. A comfy bed, fresh linen & towels, with plenty of toiletries in bathroom. Coffee machine with pods & fresh milk & cold water in the fridge on arrival. 2 split systems are more than enough to keep the villa warm & the 2 leather recliners are so comfy. Close walking distance to the main Street. Value for money.

A really lovely experience. My room was wonderfully clean and fresh. Very comfortable bed and had everything i needed. The owners were great, and made it very easy to check in and out. I only got to stay for one night but will definitely stay there again for longer next time. (Just one small disappointment was that i was unable to watch anything on the tv as the internet wasn't good at all.)

We had an overnight stay at the Jamestown Villas. We loved the spacious units and the reclining chairs so much we decided to get take away for dinner and relax watching the large screen TV. The kitchen has all you need if you wanted to cook your own meal too. It was cold outside but the villa comes with 2 air conditioners and electric blankets to keep you comfy and warm. Bathroom also included a washing machine if staying for an extended time. The shower was spacious with plenty of hot water and the towels were lovely and soft. A very peaceful spot to relax after a long drive. We plan to go back and stay longer to explore the region further.

We were in Unit 7 on Cockburn road and it was great.
Really spacious and excellent facilities.
Very modern unit, tastefully decorated and huge shower & en suite.
Air conditioning was brilliant - a must in Jamestown summer or winter ( it gets both very hot and very cold!) and inclusion of a washing machine was an added bonus.
Owner Deb was so easy to deal with and with very friendly and accommodating.
An easy stroll to the main street shops.
Highly recommend.

We liked Jamestown as soon as we set foot in it. And our accommodation did not let us down. It was a really lovely (not-quite-tiny) house, with its own outdoor barbecue area, a very well equipped kitchen and super comfy recliners. Fabulous bathroom. All designed to be wheelchair and walker-friendly, in the most glamorous way. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness that showed in so many little touches, for example, placing food wrap and plastic containers in the kitchen drawers so we could take our barbecue leftovers home. To top it off, the locals were so friendly - a gorgeous place.

Stayed for work at the recommendation of locals, great setup, comfortable and close to the centre of town. Comfy couch and beds, parking undercover. The other options seemed to be at the pubs, so I preferred my own space it's an easy walk into town.

Stayed in villa 3.
Reverse cycle air con in both rooms and electric blankets kept the place just right.
Comfortable recliner lounge suites.
Fully functioning kitchen and better than average dining table.
Cooking oil and washpowder would have been helpful. The washing machine has an outlet valve which has not been cleaned and gives the place a bit of a smell. So many hotels miss this! The air con had been cleaned so thankyou for that.
Overall great. Thankyou.

Great rooms. Appear to be quite new. Comfortable bed and recliners in the lounge.
It is a bit of a walk into town for a drink or dinner but that didn’t bother me.
Foxtel would have been good.

Only thing missing was wifi.

We stayed in Unit 4, 84-86 Cockburn Road, Jamestown. The unit is excellent!! It's especially great because of the two recliner armchairs. Everywhere else we stay they have soft couches/sofa beds, or no easy chairs at all. Can recommend this unit for comfort and space. Really wish we could stay longer.

I couldn't leave without giving these villas a five star rating. Super clean, perfectly equipped. Lovely setting. Great hospitality.

I unexpectedly needed to stop for the night before heading further north. One quick phone call and a text and I'm set for the night.

Lovely big lounge with the comfiest chairs ever. Heaters in both rooms. Super hot fast shower (last one I'll see for a while).

Easy driveway for a first time trailer hauler.

Even the tea and coffee were great quality.

They've thought of everything and made sure it's in this villa. Thanks for a great stop over.
