Spent a couple of days using Edithburgh as base to explore the base of Yorke Peninsula. Edithburgh Seaside Motel was the perfect base. With very friendly and informative Julie as hostess, the motel was more than we expected.

The single level motel with designated undercover car parking out the front of the room, was clean, tidy and well maintained. The reasonable sized room, queen and single beds, was well laid out. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was suitable for the cold nights. The table with two leather chairs doubled as a work space as well as for eating. Power points were limited, but as we travel with spare extension cables, we were able to improvise. As with a lot of motels look behind the bed for additional points if needed. Wifi is available but the night we were there it was slow and not of a good strength.

The shower had a good hot water supply after an initial period of slowness.

The room was quiet, as is the town after about 7pm. Within walking distance are two hotels, a café and the jetty.

We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to travelers and we look forward to further stays.

Return? Most definitely the place to stay in Edithburgh.

We stayed a couple of nights at Edithburgh to explore Yorke Peninsula. After reading the reviews, we decide to try this. It is an economical choice, but we were extremely delighted by this friendly, clean, quiet, peaceful brick-walled country style motel. It brings back many years of sweet memory travelling as uni students. :)

Had a great stay overnight in the Edithburgh Seaside Motel...very comfortable bed, spacious and clean room with plenty of storage. The owners are super hosts....very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Make sure you have breakfast in their very special dining room which is part of their lovely home...I would thoroughly recommend staying at this motel.

We stayed one night as planned. Very plain, basic accomodation, but clean and nicely presented. Friendly, welcoming staff, especially in the dining room. Some local fresh food would be a good addition to the basic menu.
Breakfast enquiries were directed to a local cafe across the road, where we got coffee. Nice grilled ham, cheese and tomato croissants from Tippers are delicious if you’re there Fri - Sun.

We stayed Nov 2021 for 2 nights. The motel has new owners and it shows. Spic and span. Good clean country motel. Thoroughly recommended.
Downside, like most motels in the area, is the lack of dining, but the local pub is close by.

Lovely and quite comfortable rooms. Great and friendly service as well. Close to the centre of town, though the town is rather small. While only stayed here a night, was a good place as everything was in walking distance. Do recommend it.

This motel is a fantastic find down in the bottom of the Yorke Paninsula. We were two couples staying for 2 days in a double unit and it was excellent. The unit was roomy, spotlessly clean, well designed and equipped. The grounds of the motel were impressive as was its location and facilities (laundry etc).
I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviews and would recommend the place to anyone. It really is a credit to the managers and to the town - it would do credit to whatever town or city it were to be placed!
