Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lived up to all our expectations and more. Very cosy, yet nice and cool considering the hot weather. The airconditioner & fans were very effective! Great food & treats. Lovely and clean with the most amazing gardens and the security lights were great too, for when we returned at night. Perfect location, as it was so close to everything. Cathy was a very understanding and accommodating host. Anna & Stuart- Adelaide

We stayed there from 10th Sep to 12 Sep 2016. Beautiful quaint cottage , Fireplace two queen beds. Ensuite and second bathroom. Spa room extra. Kathy catered supplies for cooked breakfasts. Chocolates, wine and port included and other groceries.Washing machine and drier provided. Angaston is close to wineries and other attractions. The garden was just shooting with buds everywhere, soon all the roses would be in bloom which would be spectacular. Cottage is walking distance to shops and restaurants.Would reccomend for a peaceful relaxing stay.

We were welcomed at the cottage by Kathy on a very cold day. Walking inside the cottage we were shown how appliances worked, the array of food & drinks plus the amazing open fire which warmed the whole cottage. There was home baked bread, cookies, eggs & bacon, milk coffee plus port & complimentary bottle of wine. What more do you need. The kitchen is very well equiped if you want to cook, dishwasher, array of saucepans etc. The lounge room has very comfy lounge & chairs Tv and of course the open fire with lots of wood available. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets ( we didn't need them as the fire warmed all the rooms). The cottage is located on what we thought was a busy road but it wasn't. No noise at all. Easy walk into town. Two bathrooms was a real plus as we were two couples. Washing machine & dryer came in handy. Off street parking.

My wife and I had a most enjoyable 4 day visit to the Barossa while based at Rose B&B, Angaston. With full days spent walking in near-by conservation parks, visiting wineries and dining at restaurants at Lyndoch, Rowland Flat, Tanunda, Seppeltsfield and Angaston, it was wonderful to come home and leave each day from 'our' roomy, clean, heritage-decorated (but with modern fittings such as the convection cook-top, oven, spa bath and air-conditioning) and well provisioned (bacon, eggs, tomatoes, fruit juice, bread, butter, chocolates, port, wine, etc) house. The outdoor covered barbecue and dining area along with the back-door foyer were also most convenient for drying our boots, raincoats and umbrella's. With the house near the top end of the main street of Angaston we were worried when booking that traffic noise might be a problem, but it wasn't at all and we found this location ideal for walking into town for a coffee, meal or looking at the many historic buildings. We look forward to again staying at the Rose B&B, Angaston and will be pleased to recommend it to friends.

Full kitchen facilities, including great quality appliances enabled us to cook most of meals. It was great to come home from a day's sightseeing to a comfortable cottage and beautiful garden. Our hosts were very welcoming without being intrusive and the home cooked bread on arrival was fantastic. The cottage is located close to the town, Barossa Markets and vineyards.

Angaston Rose was a fabulous stay for our 3 nights in the Barossa. Just off the main street of Angaston, it was walking distance to a couple of wineries, pubs and restaurants. Cathy & Ron were excellent hosts, the place was set up with everything needed - kitchen appliances, breakfast ingredients (including freshly made bread), the most comfortable beds, chocolates and wine. The spa bath was incredible!!!!! So large and lush. The gardens just beautiful for a mid afternoon picnic. Highly recommended for couples looking for a central base around the region.

A quaint and comfortable cottage, complimentary wine, cookies and chocolates, these never go astray. Every thing we needed was in the cottage had we chosen not to leave the front door. A short stroll down the main street to restaurants and shops. As there is two king bedrooms we intend to go back with friends to further enjoy the Barossa with a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day.
