The apartment was amazing, extremely clean and large rooms, very spacious the kitchen had everything you needed to cook. We loved the beautiful platter of locally sourced foods and chocolates that was a lovely surprise. Easy walking distance to the shops, pubs and cafes. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again

The apartment came with a pleasant surprise, a platter of nibbles in the fridge - quite possibly an understatement as it includes a small wheel of soft cheese, an assortment of dried fruit, a sealed tub of pate and a pack of water crackers. Our apartment was well appointed and represented good value for money. As exceptionally tall people (6’8 and 6’2) we were let down somewhat by the short shower (I washed sitting down, to wet my hair - but anyone under 5’10 should be fine) and the bed, which was generous in width but left me wanting for length more than a usual queen size bed would. A little in the form side, the hosts have tried to compensate for that with a mattress topper which helped but did not offer the same level of comfort as a genuinely comfortable mattress. The kitchen was very well appointed and again the fridge yielded surprises including ground coffee for the dripolater machine. Ample cooking gear a drawer with oil, pepper, salt etc., and a dishwasher allowed us to feel at home in the kitchen. Couch had lovely high sides, perfect for reading a book, and the dining setting was lovely and comfortable. Pleasant garden view through the window, although an odd smell prevented us taking advantage of the garden table and chairs. I would not expect this smell to be persistent though so future visitors should be fine. In all a lovely experience, a struggle to say we would be back due to our height incompatibility with the bed and shower but the fact the rest of the apartment and experience is so great, combined with excellent value for money, makes it a struggle. Top marks for hygiene. Thankyou for that.

Our apartment, "Chardonnay" (one of four) was located on the second floor of the apartment block. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped with everything we required and more... even a beautiful little complementary platter in the fridge with local cheeses, pate, biscuits and fruit. The kitchen was well appointment and even had a "real" coffee machine and ground coffee supplied. We had a great, spacious lounge/dining area with huge tv and Google Home mini for all the music we could possibly want, books, magazines etc. Two bedrooms each containing king sized beds, a large bathroom with shower, separate toilet and a fantastic balcony out front to sit out and enjoy our Barossa Valley wines and cheese plate, looking over the peaceful town of Angaston. Just a short walk to restaurants (Thai, Pizza/pasta, Vietnamese etc.) 2 hotels, supermarket, bakeries, coffee shop, newsagent, and many, many more interesting shops. Highly recommend these apartments to travelling couples... just perfect.

Great location in a lovely town with off street parking. Only 2 minutes walk from some great cafes, pubs, etc. but still nice and quiet. We stayed in the first week of July so the electric blanket and reverse cycle air con got a good work out. Newly renovated it has a new, really well equiped kitchen with full size fridge, oven, stove top and dishwasher. I only booked the evening before arriving and was then in transit all the next day so didn't realise that there were problems until I arrived at 10pm needing my room. Kate was most understanding and helped me resolve the problems without any stress. The only down side was the main bedroom is very small and the bed is two singles joined in the middle, meaning the toes are close to hanging out the bottom. Overall I found the apartment really quite comfortable and great value.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had, seamless and easy check in, clean, great location, modern, romantic, and overall wonderful!!! We visited over the Christmas period as we wanted to explore the Barossa valley. We were able to check into the room over the phone as we were running late, the staff were wonderful and helpful. The apartments are situated in a great little town and down the road from great coffee, and a cheese shop, and also cafes. We walked into a spacious apartment with a large Tv, fully equipped kitchen, cooling, and a huge shower even with a rubber duck :) This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in and we will come back and stay again.

This apartment was fantastic with a basic supply of food (bread, butter, jams, milk etc ) to keep you going with you first get there. The Laundry is shared so they may be a line up when you get there. The location was fantastic with a short walk to shops and cafes near by. Parking is in the back of the units. My hubby hated there being alot of "stuff" around he apartment (meaning cushions, screens etc). I thought it was homely - the bedrooms were small though. The main bed is 2 singles put together.

Gorgeous two bedroom apartment. A cool haven on a hot day in such a convenient location in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Quiet and private. The apartment was immaculate but not sterile, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. (Didn't try the spa). There were so many thoughtful touches. Everything we needed and more. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst working nearby. I normally stay in Adelaide and do the long drive but had some long days planned. I had thought the wifi was included but discovered it's actually $10 per night so not worthwhile. Choices for dinner were limited, the restaurants in walking distance are a pub and cafe but hey, I'm spoilt living in Victoria. Overall I would happily stay here again in similar circumstances.

We stayed here for 3 nights over New Year's Eve in the empire rose upstairs apartment. Pros: - well stocked and good sized kitchenette. BBQ available downstairs - double shower with great water pressure - air con worked well in living area on 40 plus degree days - large balcony - very clean - good value - short walk from shops - close to many wineries Cons - somewhat strange decor - living area and bedrooms not huge, best for people who intend to spend most of their time out and about rather than staying in the apartment We would definitely return next time we are in the Barossa

We are Americans living in South Australia and Angaston was our first assignment. The Angaston Mews was great. We stayed in the Red Orchid Room. There were two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with twin beds. There is also a pullout couch in the living room. The hotel room is like a small apartment with a dining room, living room kitchen, jacuzzi tub and shower and a private toilet room. The kitchen was fully stocked with breakfast cereals, fresh baked goods from the local bakery, milk, wine, butter and many other great things. The hotel is at the top of the main street and less than a 2 minute walk to the center of Angaston and shopping area, including a grocery store. The building also has a grill for use and we cooked our meals there and in the oven in the kitchen. This place is superb for its convenience and location, and the decor is Chinese and red-themed. The hotel also has free laundry with detergent, a dishwasher and soap and every kitchen amenity you could need. It also has free Wi-Fi. We loved it!
