Detailed Reviews
I just spent a wonderful 8 days at the cottages, and they were amazing. So many small details that made the stay exactly what I needed. Wood was provided for the fireplace, which was topped up regularly. The lovely housekeeper knocked and introduced herself so I didnt get a surprise when she took the bins out, also checking if I needed anything else. The fridge came with fruit, milk, eggs, bacon, and other supplies which were lovely. The two bedrooms were perfect, with electric blankets in both. The bathroom has a spa bath that was really relaxing. The cottage comes with a DVD in the TV with a few DVDs available. This would be perfect for a couple, two couples or a couple with a child. Great location close to shops some in walking distance, for others easy drive to restaurants and cafes in Tanunda (10 mins), and also close to Maggie Beers Farm Shop (10 mins).

We were returning customers having been very impressed on previous visits. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sitting in the beautiful garden was relaxing and enjoyable whilst watching the birds. We appreciate the attention to detail in the final touches and to enter the accommodation on arrival to soft music and a soft glowing lamp was very welcoming. The provisions are awesome and Vicki had no hesitation in meeting our dietary requirements. Accommodation is quiet, comfortable, relaxing and kept very clean. Convenient to Barossa attractions and restaurants. We are more than happy to return.

Best accommodation we have stayed at around the Barossa with family.
In fact it's the best stocked and prepared accommodation we have ever stayed at.
Warm ,convenient and pre stocked with everything we needed for our stay including fresh local fruits, platters, cheeses, eggs, milk, home made artisan bread and wine.
These guys are giving guests the type of service that other accommodation providers should be taking note of if they want a successful well supported business.
Best of luck for the future.
Thanks for having us and we will definitely see you next time we visit.

This place is why you come to the Barossa. The cottage (Rose) is quaint and welcoming. Both bedrooms are large and the lounge/dining/kitchen is spacious, practical and very well equipped. We were here with another couple and it worked perfectly. Very highly recommend.

We stayed at country pleasures for the weekend and it was so nice. All the creature comforts are thought of. Breakfast provisions were ample.
It’s in a peaceful location but is also still walking distance from the Main Street in Angaston. Would highly recommend!

We stayed 3 nights and we enjoyed our stay.
Plenty of space, clean and convenient. Loved the little sweet treasures we found around the house. Lovely garden. Great breakfast supplies too. Coffe drinkers catered for, but teabags? What happened to leaf tea?
Comfy bed. The property is well equipped. We had some problems with the water supply....sometimes in the shower we had to work hard to get cold water working and the pipes screamed. Maybe the pump having issues? The two seater lounge was very very uncomfortable. Nice quiet location with an easy walk to town. Hosts clearly cared about their guests.
And, in the course of 3 days, it would have been nice to meet our host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Rose Cottage. The accomodation was well presented and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable and the location is excellent. All of the amazing breakfast items and extra treats were truly delightful. We highly recommend you consider Country Pleasures for your next Barossa!

I truly cannot say enough about this wonderful place. My husband I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment, in fact I didn't want to go out and look around but just stay and enjoy the wonderful peaceful surroundings and beautiful quaint cottage. There is certainly room for two couples as the bedrooms are very spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable. Although the cottage is within walking distance to Angostyn (about 800 metres) it is very quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and thank you Roxanne for the thoughtful touches that made our stay so memorable from the port, chocolates, wine, fresh eggs and bread to your fabulous little chooks in the back yard. We did venture to two restaurants during our stay (though the kitchen is very well equipped to cook anything) Wanera Restaurant was a lovely and casual place to eat with very attentive staff and for a more upmarket special occasion we tried Vintners. The food at Vintners was exceptional as were the surroundings, wine and staff (tho a bit more expensive than Wanera). Once again thank you Roxanne we will be back.

Arrived to music playing, ambient lighting, homemade sour dough resting, chocolates, homemade biscuits, breakfast supplies & complimentary wine & Port.
Nothing to complain about in this place, after travelling for over a week it was nice to chill, enjoy a BBQ, anti pasta plates out the back or on the front sitting area. The decor is country & very elegant, spa is a delight & mostly importantly a very comfortable bed.
Air conditioning excellent in main living area & bedroom, Washing & dryer facilities, TV, DVD available & a selection of CDs.
Short walk to the town of Angaston, hosting a number of reasonable restaurants. Vineyards a short drive. Cottage also has a off street carport.
