From the moment we drove into the carport I couldn't have been happier that we chose Stoneleigh Cottage to stay while at the Barossa - my only issue is that we should've stayed here longer! Not only is the property even more gorgeous in person than in photos, Karen and Paul have thought of absolutely everything to make this cottage perfect. Decor is soft and welcoming, beautifully furnished. The food for breakfast beyond anything I've had offered in other B&B's, and the services (laundry and practical needs such as cooking utensils/cookware etc) are great. The whole cottage is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Gardens are beautiful. Will be definitely coming back here - and for much longer next time. Thank you Karen and Paul!

Just a short stroll from the centre of Angaston, Stoneleigh Cottage has been beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Gorgeous furnishings, linens and bathroom products plus an extremely well equipped kitchen. Georgie is an amazing host - so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We can't wait to return.

My husband and I unanimously agree this is by far the best B&B we've stayed at. I cannot say enough about this place. Angaston is a charming, rustic town and Stoneleigh Cottage fits right in. It's decorated like a farmhouse decor and it's so pretty that we were afraid we'd ruin something! It's spacious, spotless and so cosy, but the best thing was the little personal touches by Karen. She communicated with us right from the time we booked, each email so helpful and prompt. We had absolutely no problems finding the place or letting ourselves in. Then started the lovely surprises - a kitchen stocked full with breakfast supplies, a little Barossa wine in the living room, etc. There are instructions on how to use every appliance. We'd never used an electric blanket or fireplace in our life, and we had no problems using them. Karen even recommended an absolutely wonderful wine tour, which made our stay in Barossa the most enjoyable during out Aussie trip. I can safely recommend this place to anyone.

PS: Karen, we're the ones who emptied out half the Milo tin :)

It was so lovely to have you stay at Stoneleigh Cottage B&B and I'm so glad you and your husband enjoyed your time in the Barossa. It is a different experience to visit an area that has four distinct seasons, luckily it was still only Autumn when you visited and not minus 1 degree celsius like it was this morning! I am pleased you enjoyed the wine tour, it is a good way to make the most of your short stay. Thankyou again for the recommendation, it is very much appreciated! All the best, from Karen. PS. Milo can be very addictive!

We chose Stoneleigh for our first visit to the Barossa and weren’t disappointed. Perfectly positioned in the gorgeous village of Angerston, close to the Barossa produce markets, the bike trail and only a couple of minutes walk to great restaurants. Plenty of space for the 2 of us, super comfy bed and the breakie supplies a plenty. Thanks Karen for making our visit to the Barossa just perfect!

A cute cottage with a lovely front garden.
Lovely breakfast provided with the lot.
Comfortable and a 10 min walk to the shopping strip that had all we needed. Surrounded by the best in Barossa Valley we had an excellent lunch at Lambert Estate. A genuine Australian country experience!

I loved staying in this brilliantly equipped cottage. It has a large, comfortable bedroom, a very well-equipped kitchen, a large bathroom (shower only) and a full laundry (great to be able to wash clothes and dry them overnight with the help of the loungeroom's cosy gas fire). The kitchen has dining for 4 and the loungeroom is spacious and comfortable with a sofa bed for extra sleeping if needed. The only thing that is missing from this place is wifi and that's no big deal and it will be installed once the NBN comes through. Telstra 3G signal was good in all rooms except the lounge. Very short walk to restaurants, cafes and the main street of Angaston. Even though Angaston isn't as lively and pleasant as nearby Tanunda, this cottage is well positioned for visiting all the main Barossa attractions. Loved the view of sheep grazing at the back of the property. Even comes with a picnic basket, yoghurts, bacon, eggs, bread, jams, tomatoes, etc. for breakfasts. Great place to stay. Great value.

We spent 3 nights at Stoneleigh and loved it. So clean and well provisioned and within easy walking distance of the town which has all you need. Very homely, we could not ask for more. Hope to come again.

Presentation was beautiful, with the lounge room comfortable and appreciated having a wash machine. Breakfast provisions were great and tailored to our taste. Location was good to shops, wedding venue, friends in Barossa and Farmers Market. A few drawbacks were we didn't sleep well as bed was a bit small and squeaky, there was no dishwasher and wifi and I kept slipping off my dining chair! For the price not the best value in the Barossa.

Thankyou for your feedback, I appreciate your positive comments. We are unable to get Wi-Fi at the property until the NBN network is in operation. It clearly states that no Wi-Fi is available when you make a booking. Also, the bed is a standard queen size bed and there is no dishwasher, but again this is stated when you make a booking. We get overwhelming feedback from our guests, that our property is in fact great value for money in the Barossa.
