Detailed Reviews
We stayed in a standard cabin and found the location to be nice, not far from beaches although was a fair drive to the main shops area of Yeppoon.
The park has 2 small pools which were too packed with kids to be able to enjoy but it was the prelude to Easter so probably busier than usual.
The cabin was very small (no sitting area apart from at small kitchen table), no door to bedroom so no privacy, no aircon in main area...just one tiny aircon in the bedroom area which struggled to keep up.
There was the tiniest bedside ‘tables’ with no room to put anything and no bedside lamps so one of you couldn’t stay up reading or anything.
The bathroom was so pokey and gap between tap and sink so small you actually couldn’t put your hand under the tap...just one finger at a time! (Not helpful for COVID cleanliness) .
The bit that really topped it off was the hilariously tiny thin green scourer for cleaning (so you didn’t get charged at end of stay). It was a normal sized one cut into quarters which was just ridiculous but just about summed up the place....stingy.
In positives, there was no road noise and the bed was comfortable enough with sheets that were not all starchy which was good.
I didn’t feel that value for money was good so I wouldn’t stay again sorry.

Hi Charmaine, we are disappointed to hear that you were not happy with your accommodation. You stayed in our budget cabins which are smaller than most of our cabins. We hope you enjoy your travels. Regards Jo

We stayed in a 2 bedroom wheelchair accessible cabin for 2 nights and it was so nice we wished we could have stayed longer. The cabin was situated up a steep drive with the permanent occupants, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the rest of the very leafy park. We even had 3 resident curlew birds in our front yard! There was an undercover car park on the concrete driveway and a ramp into the cabin. The lounge and kitchen area was very spacious, although the kitchen could only be accessed from a wheelchair if side facing, and the microwave was too high. The large bathroom had a wheel-in shower, no grab rails on the wall facing the shower head, a right hand transfer toilet with grab rail, wheel-under sink and a good height mirror. There was sufficient room next to the queen sized bed to park a wheel chair and the bed was approximately 51cm high. The facilities at the park are great with outdoor movies and nightly food van delivering fish and chips and other food. Excellent, quiet location.

Fantastic location, great set up, clear expectations and service. We stayed in a family cabin near the campers and was a quick walk from all the facilities. The cabin was well equipped and full linen set with wash cloths. We had a great night sleep as the park was super quiet while we stayed for 5 nights. We checked out a day early and got a credit back because they were able to fill the cabin that night. Nothing was too small to raise and have addressed including when a person parked in our assigned bay beside the cabin. Food trucks onsite, scheduled activities every day. 5 mins to the marina at Rosslyn Bay and The Waterfront Restaurant. It’s a short walk/scoot/jog/ to the beach. Washing Machines and Dryers $4 to use or hanging to dry on the clothes lines provided. Kids loved the bouncing pillow, pool, slide, movies in the amphitheater, yard games and go karts. Highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed 7 nights from Thursday 8th October to Thursday 15th October in Cabin No 211. Check in was a breeze, everything was done online so just had to collect the keys. When we arrived at our cabin it was spacious, has to be one of the biggest cabins we have ever stayed in, plenty of room for the two of us. It had everything we needed and more. We even liked it was located away from the other holiday cabins in a quieter part of the park. Will definitely be back soon. Only issue was WIFI was a bit slow so had to use our own.

We had a grassed caravan site which was generous and very well maintained,as is the whole park.
Amenities? Spotless!
We don't have children but we kept commenting to each other how much our grandchildren would love the great pool area which had great slides for added fun. They also have a huge outdoor movie screen. There are also pedal carts for hire.
The booking processed was well managed and efficient (covid) and we did not have to present at office at all. Wonderfully helpful staff all round.
We have stayed in many parks but this would be one of the most well presented. This park is a credit to management!

The reception managed to squeeze us in with our hire camper van whilst over from NZ.
One night in an unpowered at $21 was pretty good compared. to being ripped off further north.
Of three NRMA sites this one win hands down.
It exudes quality and lovely grass pitches and drives which mad idiots still treated as a race path.
I liked their were less dogs.
Facilities were excellent and the toilet and shower block exceptionally clean compared to ones we visited on route downwards.
Across the road from beach although we didn’t venture across as we enjoyed the sunset.
A mention to the girls in office-also be t so friendly and helpful.

We originally booked for three nights, but stayed longer, mainly because this Park provided everything we needed, wanted, right here.
From prebooking tourist outings, to serving meals and drinks onsite, as well as the pools, and kids play areas, you guys managed everything so easily.
Booking is simple, and the high standard of sites, both slab, grass and unpowered was wonderful.
We will certainly be back, and will let everyone know how good this place is.

Very well looked after campsite. Showers and toilets very clean and modern. Sites well looked after. Laundry also big and clean. Very helpful staff. Good range of basic provisions available at reception. We arrived on a Saturday and were able to order Take away fish and chips Which was very welcome after a long drive.
Outdoor cinema, play areas and pool all looked good although we didn’t use them.
Also only a very short drive to the harbour for ferry to the islands.

We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights with our 3 kids. This park is fantastic for kids. Our fully air conditioned unit was very clean and spacious. The water slide was a huge hit for the kids, along with the jumping pillow, movie night, hire buggy’s, play ground and pool.
The kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would loved to return given the opportunity.
