We booked The Coast Motel as all the motels close to town wanted 2-3 night stays, plus the price was up there, due to position. A friendly welcome on arrival and the rooms are great, a good size, very clean and a comfy bed. Rate was very acceptable considering the position and what the world has been through lately. Only downside, the pub bistro next door isn't open on Monday's, so a trip into town for dinner. Very quiet position away from traffic noise of the main street, which is what we like. Would definitely stay here again, just not a Monday. Great spot thank you.
A great place to stay. Very close to beautiful spots like the Yeppoon lagoon, Keppel Kraken, fan rock lookout, wreck point lookout, etc. But more than that, the owners Michael & Julie made our stay special. They are very friendly and are happy to assist and make good suggestions of the places to visit. Julie also cooks a great breakfast which I and my wife enjoyed to the fullest satisfaction. Our room was spacious and clean. The cost of lodging was also very competitive. Plenty of parking on the ground floor. The Tavern is just next door for lunch/dinner.
OK Motel but out of the way.Rooms are a.decent size as are bathrooms. All rooms appear to be upstairs. At $150 a night I thought this was overpriced. Next time I'd look for something closer to the town and restaurants as all you have to choose from out there is a pub.
A great spot to have a break away from the rat race or after a long day's ride. The only reason for 4/5 is that the restaurant wasn't open for brekkie (bloody COVID). The pub next door is great for other meals. Overall thumbs up, great service and well appointed rooms.
Michael & Julie made our stay exceptional, they made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and help with getting to our tour to great Keppel island The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, ample parking near our room and the Tavern next door made dinner easy.
Relaxing, comfortable and accommodating. From check in to check out. Room is spacious, bathroom massive, large lounge, smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave if you wanted to reheat your pizza from the Tavern next door. All in all a great stop off the main drag.
Extremely surprised at how spacious the room and bathroom were, appreciated how clean everything was. Easy access parking under cover, great shade in the heat. Close to town centre and most amenities. Very comfortable bed, nice décor and balcony. Smart TV awesome but.. couldn't work out how to lower or turn off voice over, she was loud and announced everything from volume to channel changes! Could be my digital inability lol! Extremely friendly and helpful staff/owners. Highly recommend
We recently enjoyed 3 nights at The Coast Motel. We found it very quite, clean and comfortable. Parking underneath which kept the car cool. Easy 5 min drive into the Centre of Yeppoon. Our room faced the back street which was a no through road and it was quite. Would stay again if in the area.
A family reunion planned, we rang many different hotels im Yeppoon but the very friendly front of house staff made the Coast Motel the only one we wanted to stay. They were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Highlight is the beautiful swimming pool, a wonderful spot to have a sunset dinner followed by a swim. Undercover parking was very convenient. Room was spotless. So clean Thank you & hope to visit again.
Many nice things to list about our 3-night stay. Undercover car parking, very clean and spacious rooms, balcony, comfortable beds, smart TV, friendly staff, daily housekeeping, lovely pool and surrounds, short stroll to the Capricorn Tavern which is convenient for drinks and a meal. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing missing was a view as the rooms overlook the car park but overall great value for money.
