Stayed here about a week ago. Outside where you park your vehicle absolutely filthy and stained with what looked like spilt drinks. Thought I hope my room is now okay. Room was not too bad but dudn^t feel fresh at all. Must be permanents staying there as well, as bit noisy late at night. Staff seemed friendly enough, although sent them a coutesy email with a mtce issue, but got no response back, not even a thank you. Wi fi not too great.

Trip Ad gave me a good review and I booked, needing accommodation in the area. Arrival it looked older on the outside but tidy. Internally a gorgeous room, great bed, good service. Wonderful surprise. Very clean also in the eyes of a female traveller. Recommended

This place seems to cop a bad rap from other members but
I couldnt fault it for my trip.
It looked quite modern to me inside. A bit of seventies decor here and there but all functional and clean. Free internet run at good speed and the bed was fine.
There was a bit of road noise though but it calmed down about 10 pm.
Ive never had a better room anywhere in Australia for under 90 bucks a night.

We stayed here in Sept. 2019, had booked a standard room but were put in a family unit, old & dirty, not satisfactory. 2nd night in a standard room, acceptable, but some mould in shower.
Booked in again recently because of proximity to where we have to go. Were again put in a family unit instead of the standard room booked, and were charged extra for it despite my protests. Unit not satisfactory: odour; stained and dirty carpet; no suitcase stands; filthy cupboards; repairs needed to plumbing, windows, electrical, and some furniture; no power point in main bedroom; not enough blankets. Were again asked to switch rooms the next morning, but we had more important things to do.
These units are NOT acceptable, they need repairs and maintenance and very thorough cleaning, and bookings need to be managed better. We will NOT be back a third time.

Beware! I was expecting the 3 star experience of an ageing regional motel, but this place is a dive and my room was a disgrace. The main room looked clean enough (although very knocked around and with bedside lights that didn’t work, no second pillow etc. etc.) but the bathroom was a disgrace. Chipped and cracked tiles, chipped shower base, and a toilet that had not been flushed, suggesting that it hadn’t been cleaned either.
The room wasn’t serviced, and the very limited budget-brand tea/coffee supplies not replenished during my second day.
Having said that, I got an envious glimpse into a neighbours room which looked positively glorious by comparison - mine was a Queen, so maybe try for a King room if you must stay here.

This motel is gross. They leave almost empty loo rolls for their guests checking in, there's greasy food stains on the doona (which isn't even in a cover), the bed linen smelled, the kettle was filthy, they charge you if you don't wash the cups but provide no washing up stuff and there isn't a kitchen sink so you have to wash the cups in the sink next to the toilet, the WiFi is complete rubbish and connected for maybe 10 minutes of my whole nights stay, the heater doesn't work properly, there's no coat hangers to hang anything, there were loud domestics going on right outside our room for hours into the night with swearing and doors slamming, management were snippy when we asked for anything (eg WiFi password), hot water is inconsistent, my bed light has been broken and glued back together and doesn't even work...I'm sure there's other stuff but you get the idea!

This motel was in a convenient location for us but we wouldn't choose to stay again. The guy running it was helpful and friendly but the rooms are quite run down and there seemed to be a lot of families living there. There were a lot of people sitting outside smoking and drinking and children running around. The swearing and yelling continued until at least 10pm so it wasn't a good experience for us.

Great service, hard working and friendly staff. The cleaners do an amazing job of keeping the rooms beautifully presented. Beds were fresh and very comfortable. Convenient to the shops and all services. An overall great place to stay

I stayed at the Kipper Ring Motel for a week in September 2011 with a group of my family as we were attending a wedding. From the very moment we arrived we had a bad experience. The motel manager was not very friendly or welcoming (man, his wife however was very nice). The minute we got there we were advised that we were not allowed to make any noise or have any parties (which wasn’t something we were planning on doing anyway), as a joke I responded 'Are we allowed to have fun' he proceeded to advise that he was being serious and previously he has evicted people for making noise and parting, so from the outset I think he didn't seem very happy to have us stay there.

After the warm and friendly check in (NOT) we proceeded to our Motel room. We ended up having to ask to be moved to a new room as it smelt like a toilet. They moved us to a new room without any issues which was good. The motel is 'What you pay for', it is very basic but clean (other than the doona cover which was covered in food and other un identifying stuff). The units have good self contained facilities which were great for my parents. After a couple of days the manager had a few problems with the children in one of our other family members units and accused us of trashing the place (which was not the case), they were not happy about a few of the cushions on the fold out couch being on the floor and being jumped on by the kids, this was then followed by a number of heated words. In the end we were not happy at all with the service or the way we were being treated, the owners seemed to think they had the right to comment on the tidiness of the rooms when we hadn't even checked out. When we left the rooms and units that the group of us stayed in were left in a spotless condition, upon departure we asked the owners to inspect the rooms based on their accusations, they refused and said that they will get them when their cleaners went through. All I can say that I will not recommend this motel nor will I ever stay here again.
